ETC 적용을 통한 천연가스/디젤 혼소엔진 배출가스 특성에 관한 연구

In this study, 3.4L mechanical controlled diesel engine is converted into Natural Gas / CRDi dual fuel engine and investigated the emission characteristics of the engine according to restrict air flow by ETC to suppress the performance degradation of emissions due to lean combustion characteristics of the dual fuel engine based on diesel engine(by KC1-8 Mode). As the result, fuel consumption is significant reduction in low load area. THC, CH₄, CO emissions were reduced and PM emissions rapidly decreased to 7.42×10<SUP>-7</SUP> g / kWh from 1.4×10<SUP>-4</SUP> g / kWh. NOx emission increased to 3.12 g / kWh from 2.65 g / kWh, but can be improved through optimization of the ETC.
