        엉덩관절 모음근의 수축을 동반한 플랭크 운동이 중심 근육의 두께에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of plank exercises involving the contraction of the adductor muscle of the hip joint on core muscle thickness and to propose an effective plank exercise method. Methods: A total of 30 healthy young adults (17 males, 13 females) voluntarily participated in the study. The subjects were randomized to the prone plank exercise with hip adductor contraction (n=10), the prone plank exercise (n=10), and the supine plank exercise (n=10) groups. Muscle thickness measurements were taken prior to starting the exercise program and after completing the program at the end of a 4-week period. The muscle thickness of the rectus abdominis (RA), multifidus (MF), external oblique (EO), internal oblique (IO), and transverse abdominis (TrA) muscles were measured using ultrasonography. Each group performed the stipulated plank exercise five times a week as follows: 5 sets of 20 seconds during the first week, 5 sets of 30 seconds in the second week, 5 sets of 40 seconds in the third week, and 5 sets of 40 seconds in the last week. Results: The three different types of plank exercises all showed significantly increased thickness of the RA, MF, EO, IO, and TrA (P<0.05). Furthermore, changes in the thickness of both the MF and TrA were statistically more significant in the groups that did the prone plank exercise with the hip adductor contraction and the supine plank exercise than in the prone plank exercise group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The study results suggest that the prone plank exercise with hip adductor contraction is a more effective method for overall activation of the RA, MF, EO, IO, and TrA than the prone plank exercise and the supine plank exercise.

        인터벌 트레이닝과 유산소운동이 젊은 비만 남자의 체성분과 체력에 미치는 효과

        This study is proposed to the effects of interval training by different intensity on body fat, flexibility, agility, quickness, and maximal oxygen consumption. A total of 30 healthy men voluntarily participated in the study. The participants were randomized to moderate aerobic exercise(n=15) and high-intensity interval training groups(n=15). Exercise programs lasted for six weeks, with each session occurring four times per week for 50 minutes per session. There were significant differences in fat and physical fitness according to flexibility, agility, quickness, and maximal oxygen consumption within the high-intensity interval training groups(p<.05). For the moderate aerobic exercise group, there was a significant difference in fat, flexibility, maximal oxygen consumption(p<.05). There were significant differences between groups for fat, flexibility, agility and quickness(p<.05). Therefore using high-intensity interval training will significantly benefit obese young men in musculoskeletal capacity and quickness. 본 연구는 강도가 다른 인터벌 트레이닝이 체지방량, 유연성, 순발력, 민첩성, 그리고 최대산소섭취량에 대한 효과에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 총 30명의 젊은 남성들이 자발적으로 이 연구에참여했다. 대상자들은 중등도 유산소 운동군과 고강도 인터벌트레이닝군에 무작위로 배분하였다. 운동프로그램은 6주동안 진행하였으며, 각 세션은 주 4회에 50분씩 진행하였다. 고강도 인터벌 트레이닝 군에서 체지방률, 유연성, 순발력, 민첩성 및 최대산소섭취량에서 유의한 차이를 보였고(p<.05), 중등도 유산소 운동은 체지방률, 유연성 및 최대산소섭취량에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다(p<.05). 두 군간의 비교에서는 체지방률, 유연성, 순발력, 민첩성에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다(p<.05). 그러므로 고강도 인터벌 트레이닝은 근골격계의 능력과 순발력에서 젋은 비만 남성에게큰 도움이 될 것이다.

        스마트폰 사용시간과 스트레칭이 근경직도 및 집중력과 시력에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: This study is an investigation of the effects of long-term smart phone usage and of stretching on muscle stiffness, concentration, and visual acuity. Methods: Forty healthy young adults voluntarily participated in the study and were measured for muscle stiffness, concentration, and visual acuity before smartphone usage and after 30 minutes, 60 minutes, and 90 minutes of smartphone usage. The participants were randomly allocated to the intervention group (n=20) and the control group (n=20). Five minutes after the stretching exercise and eye exercise intervention, the participants were remeasured. Results: After long-term smartphone usage, increases in muscle stiffness and concentration were statistically significant (p<0.05), whereas decreases in visual acuity were statistically significant (p<0.05). After the stretching exercise and eye exercise intervention, muscle stiffness significantly decreased (p<0.05) and visual acuity significantly increased (p<0.05). Concentration, according to the stretching exercise and eye exercise intervention, showed no significant pre- or post-test difference. Conclusion: The results from this study indicate that long-term smartphone usage effectively improved concentration but increased muscle stiffness and decreased visual acuity. Appropriate stretching and eye movement during long-term smartphones usage should mitigate the effects on muscle stiffness and visual acuity. Furthermore, smartphones should be considered an effective tool for concentration training when coupled with the development of appropriate applications.

        Comparison of the effects of different core exercise on muscle activity and thickness in healthy young adults

        Objective: This study aimed to compare the effects of core exercise methods on muscle activation and muscle thickness in healthy young adults and to propose effective core exercise methods. Design: Three-group pretest-posttest design. Methods: A total of 30 healthy young adults (14 males, 16 females) voluntarily participated in the study. Subjects were randomized to the prone plank exercise (n=10), reverse plank exercise (n=10), or bridge exercise (n=10) groups. Muscle activity and thickness of the rectus abdominis (RA), multifidus (MF), external oblique (EO), and internal oblique (IO) muscles were measured using surface electromyography and ultrasound. Subjects from each group participated in the exercises five times a week, with five 20-second sets during week 1. The set time was increased by 10 seconds per week. Results: Muscle activity and thickness in the prone plank, reverse plank, and bridge exercise group were statistically significant different for RA, MF, EO, and IO changes over time, and interaction between time and groups were also significantly different (p<0.05). We analyzed statistically significant differences between groups using a one-way analysis of variance for each period. A significant difference was observed after 4 weeks of exercise (p<0.05). Conclusions: The results suggest that the prone plank exercise is a beneficial method for enhancing muscle activation and thickness of the RA, EO, and IO compared to the reverse plank and bridge exercises. On the other hand, the reverse plank and bridge exercises are effective methods for enhancing the MF compared to the prone plank exercise.

        도수림프배출법이 의료기관의 스트레스 사무직 종사자의 자율신경계 및 통증의 변화에 미치는 영향

        This study is to investigate the effects of manual lymphatic drainage of stressed hospital office employees on the autonomic nervous. A total of 30 stressed hospital office women voluntarily participated in the study. The participants were randomized to the manual lymphatic drainage groups and rest groups. The intervention was conducted for 20 minutes in each group. There were significant differences in sympathetic nerve, parasympathetic nerve, and pain within manual lymphatic drainage groups(p<.05). There were significant differences between groups for the sympathetic nerve, parasympathetic nerve, and pain(p<.05). Therefore, manual lymphatic drainage is an effective intervention for reducing the stress and pain of stressed hospital office employees. 본 연구는 도수림프배출법이 스트레스가 있는 의료기관 사무직 종사자들에 대한 자율신경계와통증에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 총 30명의 스트레스가 많은 의료기관 사무직 여성들이자발적으로 연구에 참여하였다. 대상자들은 도수림프배출군과 휴식군으로 무작위 분류하였다. 각군에 20분간 중재를 실시하였다. 도수림프배출군 내에서 교감신경, 부교감신경, 통증에서 유의한차이가 나타났고(p<.05), 두 군간의 비교에서는 교감신경, 부교감신경, 통증에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다(p<.05). 그러므로, 도수림프배출법은 스트레스가 있는 의료기관 사무직 종사들의 스트레스와 통증을 감소시키는데 큰 도움이 될 것이다.

        다양한 저항을 이용한 스쿼트 운동이 성인 여성의 근 활성도, 근 두께 및 정적균형에 미치는 효과

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of squat exercises using various resistances on muscle activity, muscle thickness, and static balance ability. Methods: Around 38 subjects (healthy female adults) were randomly assigned to elastic resistance (n=13), load resistance (n=13), and body squat (n=12) conditions, after which, a total of 18 exercises were performed. All subjects’ muscle activity, muscle thickness, and static balance were measured using surface electromyography, diagnostic ultrasonography, and balance measuring devices before and after 3 weeks and 6 weeks. Results: The effect of exercise on muscle activity, muscle thickness, and static balance significantly increased with time after 3 and 6 weeks in each group (p<.05). As a result of the comparison of the effects between the groups, the elastic resistance group and the load resistance group were found to have significant increases six weeks later more so than the body squat group (p<.05). Conclusions: The results showed that the elastic resistance squat and load resistance squat exercises are more effective in improving muscle strength and static balance rather than body squat exercises.

        The Effects of Neuromuscular Training of Ballet Dancers with Chronic Ankle Instability on Ankle Stability and Posture Control Ability

        Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of neuromuscular training of ballet dancers with chronic ankle instability on ankle stability and posture controlability. Design: A randomized controlled trial. Methods: A total of Thirty-twoyoung female ballet dancers with chronic ankle instability have voluntarily participated in the study. The participants were randomized to the neuromuscular training group(n1=11), elastic resistance squat group(n2=11), and control group(n3=10). The intervention was applied to a total of 18 exercises per six weeks and conducted in each group for one hour a day, three times a week. All subjects were evaluated for Cumberland ankle instability tool(CAIT), static balance at before-after intervention. Results: In the comparison of the effects within the groups, the effect of the intervention on CAIT and posture control was significantly increased in the neuromuscular training group and elastic resistance squat group (p <0.05). In the comparison of the effects between the groups, the neuromuscular training group, and elastic resistance squat group were found to significantly increase more than the control group (p <0.05). The effect of ankle stability is similar in neuromuscular training and elastic resistance squat training, neuromuscular training is more effective in improving posture control rather than elastic resistance squat training. Conclusions: When planning a rehabilitation training program for a ballet dancer with chronic ankle instability, neuromuscular training can be applied as an intervention method to improve ankle stability and posture control ability.

        스트레칭이 의료기관 사무직 종사자의 근 경직도에 미치는 효과

        본 연구는 의료기관 사무직 종사자들의 근 경직도에 대한 스트레칭의 효과를 알아보려고 한다. 총 40명의 젊은 여성 대상자들이 자발적으로 이 연구에 참여했다. 대상자들은 스트레칭 군과 대조군에 무작위로 분류하였다. 스트레칭 중재 전, 대상자의 흉쇄유돌근, 상부승모근, 후두하근, 소흉근의 근 경직도를 측정하였다. 그리고 스트레칭을 스트레칭 군에 적용하였다.중재 후 5분이 지나서 각 근육의 근경직도를 재측정하였다. 스트레칭 군에서 흉쇄유돌근, 상부승모근, 후두하근, 소흉근의 근 경직도는 유의하게 감소하였으며(p<.05), 대조군에서는 중재 전과 후에 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 따라서 적절한 스트레칭은 의료기관 사무직 종사자의 근 경직도의 증가로 인해 야기될 수 있는 근골격계 질환을 예방하고 감소시킬 것으로 사료된다. This study is to investigate the effects of stretching of hospital office employees on muscle stiffness. A total of 40 healthy young women voluntarily participated in the study. The participants were randomized to the stretching groups and control groups. Before stretching, the participants measured muscle stiffness of sternocleidomastoid muscle, upper trapezius muscle suboccipital muscles and pectoralis minor. And then applied stretching to stretching group. Muscle stiffness remeasured five minutes later in each group. In all muscles, muscle stiffness of stretching group were significant decreased(p<.05), but control group were no significant difference between pre and post. therefore appropriate stretching is expected to prevent and reduce musculoskeletal diseases caused by increased muscle stiffness in hospital office employees.

        전 암컷 3배체 넙치(Paralichthys olivaceus)에 대한 효율적인 세포유전학 분석법

        We cytogenetically analyzed a triploid King-Nupchi strain of the olive flounder Paralichthys olivaceus to define the simplest, most rapid, and most effective method of ploidy analysis in aquaculture farms. Female triploidy of the flounder King-Nupchi strain was induced by cold shock (3 min post-fertilization at 2-4°C for 45 min). Triploid induction was confirmed by erythrocyte measurement (nuclear volume, 29.15±2.10 μm³); flow cytometry (2.14±0.03 pg/cell); chromosome count (3N=72); Ag-NOR banding; and silver staining. Silver staining of finned cells obtained using a solid tissue technique was the most effective method of ploidy verification.
