Torque converter in automatic transmission device transfer the engine power to transmission. In order to reduce the driving loss of the torque converter, oil pump using a needle roller bearing part. In the torque converter impeller hub grinding process, chattering shape such as a wave pattern may be generated due to abnormal vibration on the manufacturing equipment. The chatter noise is amplified by the impeller hub chattering shape with the bearing roller at all speeds of the transmission. In this study, the noise factors that can be generated in the torque converter impeller hub grinding process are studied and proposed the noise reduction method.

Large scale Field Operational Tests(FOTs) were introduced a few years ago as an evaluation tool for newly developed automotive systems with the purpose of proving that such systems can deliver real-world benefits. A number of such FOTs have been carried out to evaluate new automotive systems, particularly a variety of Advanced Driver Assistant Systems(ADAS) and V2x related functions or services. These FOTs have proven to be very useful and have been identified as an important method to verify the real-world impacts of newly developed such systems. Europe, North America and Japan have conducted a number of FOTs for several years and have cumulated enormous amount of data through these FOTs. Especially, Europe had developed methodologies for FOT, like FESTA handbook, and has been sharing related information through networking platform, FOT-Net. This paper introduces several overseas FOTs and suggests ideas on preparing FOTs for autonomous vehicle in Korea.

Transmission - Hydraulic System needs higher pressure than existing Automatic transmission to deliver the power which is created by moving the belt, this power is made by the pressure in the pully. Therefore, Most Transmission needs involute gear type oil pumps. In this paper, We’ll suggest the methods of improvement through the investigation in mechanism to lower noise after constant temperature rise. And also the feature of the noise from the involute gear type oil pump, the core part of Transmission - Hydraulic System, in the stage of acceleration, deceleration in cold temperature and idle when car starts.

According to the analysis of traffic accidents, it is necessary to make a plan to reduce the traffic accident rate in bad weather. Depending on the weather conditions that affect driver’s visual range, traffic accident rate varies. Accordingly, a study is researching on the color temperature of the vehicle’s headlights to improve visibility for driver safety. In this paper. an integrated headlamp system is proposed that changes lighting between Cool white and Warm white for stable visibility. The algorithm for climate condition analysis makes scheme, and the information required for driving is acquired via sensor in vehicle. After analyzing a database of acquired information, it was linked to a color temperature variable headlamp system. A virtual environment has been established and simulated to demonstrate increasing Contrast for luminance, as a result. traffic accidents can be expected to be reduced as increasing the driver visibility range.
