Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the virtual representation of the physical and functional characteristics of a facility from inception onward. As such, it serves as a shared information repository for collaboration throughout a facility’s lifecycle. BIM is a new paradigm which can perform a diverse engineering activity such as design, simulation, structure analysis, etc and support a based information model in construction industry. In these days, many construction companies tried to perform a project efficiently by constructing and using BIM and carried out a research related in PMIS(Project Management Information System), etc. But a real case of research focused on 3D modeling object and control and share of engineering information is insufficient. In this research, we suggest an efficient BIM model and information share system based PLM for collaboration based on analyzing and researching a case of constructing BIM when perform construction project.

Sharing and reusing of the information during construction are getting more important to enhance the construction productivity. Recently, in order to effectively manage the information BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology has been introduced and applied actively. BIM is a process to create and manage whole information related to the infrastructures throughout four construction stages: planning, design, construction, and maintenance. In addition, a collaboration system between participants in a construction project, such as client, contractor, and structural designer, is required as well as BIM technology. In this paper, the process and data of construction projects were analyzed and web-based information management system for the collaboration of the participants of construction project was designed and developed. The system can support the cooperative decisionmaking of each participant during the overall construction process by the sharing and managing the construction information.

In manufacturing companies, different types of production have been developed based on diverse production strategies and differentiated technologies. The production systems have become smart, factories are filled with unmanned manufacturing lines, and sustainable manufacturing technologies are under development. Nowadays, the digital manufacturing technology is being adopted and used in manufacturing industries. When this technology is applied, a lot of efforts, time and cost are required and training professionals in-house is limited. In this paper, we introduce e-FEED system (electronic based Front End Engineering and Design) that is the integrated design and analysis system for optimized manufacturing line development on virtual environment. This system provides the functions that can be designed easily using library and template based on standardized modules and analyzed automatically the logistic and capacity simulation by one-click and verified the result using visual reports. Also, we can review the factory layout using automatically created 3D virtual factory and increase the knowledge reuse by e-FEED system.
