        온라인수업 환경에서 학습실재감이 학습몰입 및 만족도에 미치는 영향 - 호텔·관광전공 학생들을 중심으로 -

        The objective of this study is to verify the relations of learning presence, learning flow, and learning satisfaction in online education environment, and also to understand which factors of learning presence would have significant effects on learning flow and learning satisfaction. To achieve the objective of this study, a survey was conducted targeting the students majoring in hotel & tourism of three universities in Gangwon-do, Gyeonggi-do, and Chungcheongbuk-do for about a month from April 20th to June 18th 2021. After distributing total 180 questionnaires, total 151 questionnaires were used for the analysis by excluding 29 questionnaires with insincere responses. Using the SPSS.18.0 Program, the multiple regression analysis was conducted. In the results of the analysis, of the subfactors of learning presence, the cognitive presence and emotional presence had significantly positive(+) effects on the formation of learning flow and learning satisfaction of students while the social presence did not have significant effects on learning flow and learning satisfaction. Based on such results, this study aims to present the importance of learning presence in online.

      • A Comparison of the Image of Korea as Perceived by Foreign Tourists Before and After the Gyeongju World Culture EXPO

        This research empirically examined changes in the images of Korea over three points in time among Japanese, Chinese, and U.S. visitors to South Korea. Between August 13 and October 23, 2003, about two to three months after the Gyeongju World Culture EXPO 2003 ended, 223 tourists from Japan, 143 from China, and 173 from the U.S. completed the survey instrument. The results from a General Linear Model (GLM) with repeated measures showed that tourists from all three countries had more positive images after the Gyeongju World Culture EXPO than before it. It was concluded that the Gyeongju World Culture EXPO 2003 appeared to have a significant positive effect in enhancing the image of South Korea. The study suggests that an internationally significant event can change the image of a tourism destination in a short time period.

        실감형 가상 시작품을 이용한 협업 디자인 품평

        In these days, the importance of design becomes increasing and the design aspect that customers decide to purchase products such as television, mobile phone is more important than functional one. And the progress of virtual reality technology enables us to feel the reality from the virtual prototype as the real one. In this paper, we introduce the collaboration design review system consist of MEMPHIS, CORE. We can create a realistic virtual prototype more fastly, conveniently and efficiently using MEMPHIS and carry out the design review through collaboration using CORE. As a result of this study, it would be possible that decision making can be done effectively at early stage of the design process.

        스마트 제조를 위한 클라우드 플랫폼 기반 사용자 친화적인 디지털 트윈 구축 방법

        스마트 제조 시대의 도래로 선진국과 글로벌 제조 기업들을 중심으로 스마트 공장을 활발히 구축하고 있다. 디지털 트윈은 진보된 형태의 스마트 공장 구축을 가능하게 하는 미래 핵심 기술이다. 디지털 트윈 기반 스마트 공장은 (1) 실제 공장과 동일한 디지털 공장을 모델링하고, (2) 물리적 공장과 디지털 공장을 연결하며, (3) 시뮬레이션, 인공지능과 같은 분석 기술들로 예측하고, (4) VR/AR을 통해 직접 체험하며 빠른 의사결정을 통해 물리적 공장을 제어하는 절차로 구축된다. 디지털 트윈은 전문가 의존도가 매우 높은 기술이며, 구축에 많은 시간과 비용이 소요된다. 본 논문에서는 전문가뿐만 아니라 초보자들도 쉽고 빠르게 디지털 트윈을 구축이 가능한 클라우드 기반 디지털 트윈 플랫폼을 소개한다. 다양한 제조기업들의 구축 사례들에 대해 설명하고, 그 효과를 분석했다. With the advent of the smart manufacturing era, advanced countries and global manufacturing enterprises are actively building smart factories. Digital twin (DT) is the future key technology that enables the building of advanced smart factories. DT-based smart factories are built by following procedures that consist of (1) modeling a digital factory that is identical to the physical factory, (2) connecting the physical factory and digital factory, (3) predicting using analysis techniques, such as simulation and artificial intelligence, and (4) controlling the physical factory through quick decision-making based on direct experience using virtual or augmented reality. DT is a technique in which experts are heavily relied upon, and it takes much time and costs to develop DT. In this paper, we introduce a cloud-based DT platform that enables novices and experts to build DT quickly and easily. Cases applicable to various manufacturing companies were described, and the effects were analyzed.

        국내 디지털 트윈 연구동향 조사 및 분석

        With the advent of the 4th industrial revolution, digital twin technology is in the spotlight. Cases of digital twin creation based on the latest information and communication technologies are being actively reported by advanced countries and global companies. However, sometimes the unclear definition of digital twin confuses readers. Kritzinger et al. classified terms and concepts into Digital Model (DM), Digital Shadow (DS), and Digital Twin (DT) depending on whether the data flow between the physical entity and the digital entity is automatic or manual. This paper examines Korean papers searched for digital twin and manufacturing keywords in Google Scholar for 3 years and analyzes them by dividing the level of building digital twin by DM, DS, and DT. Based on the results, this paper discusses the direction of digital twin creation.

        디지털 트윈 구축을 위한 부분 매크로 파라메트릭 기반 대규모 공장 데이터의 효율적인 웹 가시화 방법

        공장 데이터 가시화는 제조 분야 디지털 트윈 구축을 위한 핵심 기술 중 하나이다. 하지만 대용량 공장 삼차원 데이터 크기는 웹 가시화를 어렵게 하고, 반드시 해결해야만 하는 기술이다. 이 논문에서는 웹 환경에서 효율적으로 대용량 공장 삼차원 데이터를 가시화하기 위한 (1) 프리미티브 형상, (2) 파라메트릭 형상, (3) 메쉬 CSG와 같이 세 단계로 구성되는 부분 매크로 파라메트릭 변환 방법에 대해 기술한다. Open CASCADE와 같은 CAD 커널과 three.js, bablon.js와 같은 웹 가시화 라이브러리를 활용하여 구현된 변환 시스템을 통해 메쉬 데이터와 제안한 방법의 결과물들을 비교하며, IFC 형식의 삼차원 BIM 모델 변환 사례도 소개한다. Factory data visualization is a key technology for building digital twins in the manufacturing sector. However, the large-scale 3D factory data size makes web visualization difficult, which must be addressed. In this paper, we describe a partial macro-parametric conversion method that comprises (1) primitive shape, (2) parametric shape, and (3) mesh CSG to efficiently visualize large-scale 3D factory data in a web environment. Using a conversion system based on a CAD kernel (Open CASCADE) and web visualization libraries such as three.js and babylon.js, the mesh data and results of the proposed method are compared, and the examples of IFC-format 3D BIM model conversion are also introduced.

        In manufacturing companies, different types of production have been developed based on diverse production strategies and differentiated technologies. The production systems have become smart, factories are filled with unmanned manufacturing lines, and sustainable manufacturing technologies are under development. Nowadays, the digital manufacturing technology is being adopted and used in manufacturing industries. When this technology is applied, a lot of efforts, time and cost are required and training professionals in-house is limited. In this paper, we introduce e-FEED system (electronic based Front End Engineering and Design) that is the integrated design and analysis system for optimized manufacturing line development on virtual environment. This system provides the functions that can be designed easily using library and template based on standardized modules and analyzed automatically the logistic and capacity simulation by one-click and verified the result using visual reports. Also, we can review the factory layout using automatically created 3D virtual factory and increase the knowledge reuse by e-FEED system.

        디지털 트윈 기반 역사 공기질 통합 모니터링 및 분석 시스템

        지하철 역사의 미세먼지 절감을 위한 ICT 기반의 연구들이 활발히 수행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 트윈 기반 통합 공기질 모니터링 및 분석 시스템을 소개한다. 이 시스템은 (1) 지하철 역사에 설치된 다양한 IoT 센서로부터 데이터들을 수집하여 엣지 디바이스를 통해 디지털 트윈에 전달하고, (2)실제와 동일한 실감형 3D 디지털 트윈을 통해 현재의 상황을 모니터링하며, (3) AI와 CFD 시뮬레이션 기술을 통해 공기질의 예측을 수행하여 최적의 공기질 상황으로 역사를 유지할 수 있도록 돕는다. 이 시스템을 강남역에 적용하여 결과를 분석했다. ICT-based studies are being actively conducted to reduce fine dust in subway stations. In this study, an integrated air quality monitoring and analysis system based on a digital twin was introduced. This system provided the following functionalities: (1) collected data from various IoT sensors installed in subway stations, and delivered it to the digital twin through edge devices; (2) monitored the current situation through realistic 3D digital twin, and (3) helped to maintain the optimal air quality of subway stations through air quality prediction, using AI and CFD simulation technology. Results were analyzed by applying the system to Gangnam station.

        Generally, over 95% of manufacturing cost is determined in the design and manufacturing preparation step, especially a great part of productivity is determined in the manufacturing preparation step. In order to improve the manufacturing competitiveness, we have to verify the problems that can be occurred in the production step and remove the unnecessary factors in the manufacturing preparation step. Thus, manufacturing industries are adopting digital manufacturing system based on modeling & simulation. In this paper, we introduce e-FEED system (electronic based Front End Engineering and Design) that is the integrated design and analysis system for optimized manufacturing line development based on simulation automation and explain the work process (Design, Analysis and Optimization) about manufacturing line development using e-FEED system. Also, the effect is described through the real implementation cases.

        유비쿼터스 기술을 이용한 프레스 금형의 트라이아웃 관리시스템

        In these days, automotive companies are trying to develop new manufacturing technologies and paradigms for rapid product development and production. The press die development process account for 40% of entire vehicle development process, and tryout process usually takes 3 to 4 months, and it is the biggest time portion out of dies manufacturing. Therefore, the effective tryout management system is essential to reduce time and cost of automotive press die production. This paper suggests improved process and practical application of tryout management using ubiquitous technology, and shows the results such as shorten time, improved quality and supporting of lifecycle engineering of press die.
