4WS/6WS is known to be effective in improving stability and handling performance by reducing side slip angle. In this study, 6WD/6WS dynamic model for simulating various motions of full vehicle is developed. Based on the model, dynamic performance are analyzed for vehicles with 2WS, 4WS and 6WS, respectively. It is analyzed for step steering, constant radius cornering and minimum radius turning. The purpose of this study is to compare the characteristics of the 6WS model and to serve as a reference for a development.

High level vacuum die casting (HLVD) allows the casting products heat treatable with aid of minimized gas contents (e.g. max 3cc/100gAl), therefore it shows improved mechanical properties. In order to decrease the gas content of castings, vacuum level in cavity should be maintained under 5kPa during mold filling process. For the quality control of mass production, the practical inspection system should be required in the production process. In this study, we have focused on finding the relationship between process parameters and gas porosity, one of the main casting defects. We developed thin walled bracket with HLVD process to achieve weight reduction as well as cost saving. In addition, improved mechanical properties and productivity were acquired.

High vacuum die casting allows the casting products heat treatable with aid of minimized gas contents. therefore it shows improved mechanical properties. In this study, The weight of manufactured trunk lid inner panel is reduced by 18% with the comparison of steel trunk lid inner panel. To investigate microstructure and inspection defect of the aluminum trunk lid inner panel used optical microscope and computer tomography, blister, respectively. And to evaluate mechanical properties used hardness, tensile, residual stress. The results indicated conventional properties of high vacuum die casting, and there are no definite difference.
