        The Railway Conflict detection and resolution is not done proper automatically because of the incomplete network and connection between railway equipments and insufficient software algorithm in the current Railway Traffic Management System (RTMS). The railway conflict detection and resolution is very important to maintain train operation consistence in the complicated operation. But in the current status the problem is not automatical resolved yet, is done manually case by case or resolved at happened the conflict. This paper will be presented the detection algorithm and resolution algorithm, the algorithm is designed in optimal theory and will be computer simulated.

        The model of the interlocking software has been implemented with real time operation system and related Entity-relation diagram has been shown, with interlocking logic. The Data base of an example station was structured with the E-R diagram. The implemented software model was rested to interlocking logic with the database and time-complexity and space-complexity was investigated to confirm real time operation of the model. The software model will be researched to process even if the system is backed up, and with adapted operation systems.

      • 열차 지연에 따른 운전 계획 정상화에 관한 연구

        This paper is implemented a control algorithm in order to be stable and minimized to entire train traffic system at delayed case. Train congestion at station entrance for short headway operation is demonstrated and the propagation of delays along a platform of trains from any imposed delay to the leading train is also shown. A railway signaling system is by nature a distributed operation with event triggered at discrete intervals. Although the train kinematic variables of position, velocity, and acceleration are continually changing, the changes are triggered when the trains pass over section boundaries and arrive at signals and route switches. Metro networks are operated either open-loop line or closed-loop line. A given number of trains operated on a open circuit or a closed circuit with the consequence time delays are calculated from that circuit. This paper deals with linear-modeling, stability and optimal control for the traffic on such metro line of the model is reconstructed in order to adapt the both circuits. This paper propose optimal control laws with state feedback ensuring the stability of the modeled system for both circuits. Simulation results show the benefit to be expected from an efficient traffic control. The main results are summarized as follows: 1. In this paper we develop a linear model describing the traffic for both loop lines, two state space equations have been analyzed. The first one is adapted to the situation where a complete nominal time schedule is available while second one is adapted when only the nominal time interval between trains is known, in both cases we show the unstability of the traffic when the proceeding, train is delayed. 2. On the basis of these state spaces equations this paper derive optimal control laws with following properties, - They are easily implemented at law cost on existing lines. - They ensure the exponetial stability of both-loop system. 3. These control laws have been tested on a traffic simulation software taking into account the non-linearites and the physical constraints on a metro line. By means of simulation, the efficiency of the proposed optimal control laws are shown.

      • 열차제어 시물레이션 모델에 관한 연구

        In this paper, advanced automatic train control system is analyzed after reviewing metro railway signalling system generally, and traffic modelling and control model design was considered to analyze and improve the capacity of rail operation. Block system which is one of the most decisive factor on headway calculation is discussed. Headway calculation according to each block systems are induced. Block system is categorized into the fixed block, the semi-moving block and the moving block system. Overlap is also reviewed because it is the base for block system. Headway comparison according to each block system fixed block system and moving block system is tried on each parameter, which are effective for headway calculation. As a result moving-block system was show an the most effective solution to achive the best headway for metro railway signalling system.

        Combination of adaptive control algorithms of running time along hauls and braking at stations provides means for improvement of operating and technical indexes are metro open loop line. Increase carrying capacity of stations, extend running time control area and the quantity of rolling stock used, lower the rate of energy consumption for train tractions. The traffic stability properties are introduced and easy-to-implement adaptive traffic control algorithm are designed, which satisfied with system stability. And this algorithm will be implemented to actual metro line after computer simulation.

      • Open-loop 지하철 선로의 열차 DIAGRAM에서 지연에 따른 정규화에 관한 연구

        In this paper, traffic modeling and con lo design was considered to analyze and improve the stability of train diagram in the Open-loop Metro line. A complete discrete-event traffic model ddescribing the natual instability of open-loop metro line is analyzed. The traffic stability properties are introduced and easy-to-implement feed back traffic control algorithms are desigened, which satisfied with system stability.

      • 열차 제어 시스템 소프트웨어 안전 모델에 관한 연구

        Software testing during development and operation should exercise to obtain the desired software quality and leave failure data set. So far many software reliability models are classified and can be used to meature a software reliability only based on its failure history. But, in practice, developers or testers of software system must decide which existing software reliability model can be fitted. In the Train control system, safety is the most important view-point for development, and also reliability is too. In this paper, we will show that an appropriate reliability model can be selected by considering relations between characteristics of each testing environment and model's assumptions. Several methods of software testing for train control system are presented and discussed. Also, unit test, intergrateed test, function test and system test that are sequentially exercised during development will be introduced. In the conclusion, we will introduce the reliable and safe model for developing in the train control system software.
