The measurement of magnetic field is performed about DC and AC magnetic field in electric railway line. The test point is cap, on the converter/inverter box, on the traction motor and on the SIV, the height of measurement is bottom and 60 cm height. In case of AC magnetic field, the selected specific frequency is measured on the converter/inverter box. The AC magnetic field is checked and analysis through BNC output, DAQ cad and notebook PC.

Recently, the high speed train was operated and then the train system's reliability requirements are growing more and more. The exact prediction simulation is necessary in the design of power feeding system by the increase of railway electrification. In order to develope the AC feeding system analysis technology, real-time power simulator was manufactured. It is composed to eight channels analog input, forty channels analog output and forty-eight channels digital I/O. The size of simulator rack is 19" and the two I/O boards are installed the PXI chassis built into the real time OS. The signal I/O is possible through BNC connector. The test results of manufactured simulator are obtained that the error range of analog I/O signal is below 1 % and simulation condition is set to 1 ms and the simulation output of the analog output compares the results of the simulator.

This paper is described about the test equipment of traction motor for electric train. This test equipment was able to perform the performance test of traction motor which was operated in Korea. We explain performance and function of test equipment. In order to check the performance of test equipment, we conducted the performance test with 200 ㎾ and 1100 ㎾ traction motor.

The inrush current of main transformer installed tiling train is analyzed during the operation of MCB (main circuit break) passing through the neutral section. The instantaneous waveform of load current were analyzed in case of powering and regenerative braking. Inrush current waveform with run of AC railway train showed that inrush current waveform and harmonics, the inrush current generated from main transformer in train has bad effects on power quality problem. In order to reduce these inrush currents, the MCB is connected when the phase angle of voltage is 90 degree. But this electric railway train does not equip this system and then generates various inrush waveform. In case of inrush current waveform with run of tilting train, and it is generated from main transformer in train has bad effects on power quality problem.

철도차량이 고속으로 주행함에 따라서 접촉식으로 전력을 공급받는 방식의 한계가 발생하였다. 해외의 고속자기부상열차에서는 차상에 전력을 공급하기 위해서 비접촉방식을 이용하고 있다. 독일의 경우는 선형발전기와 유도급전시스템을 적용하였으며, 일본의 MLX01의 경우는 선형발전기를 이용하고 있다. 따라서 현재 진행중인 초고속 튜브열차의 차상전원을 공급에 적합한 전력공급방식을 해외사례를 통하여 검토하였다.
