        The results obtained by an investigation of junior college students leisure time activities from the viewpoint of social sports are as follows: 1.Quite a few students have positive recognition on the necessity of leisure time activities(4.32), and on the participation in social sports as leisure time activities(3.89) 2.They also think that the participation in social sports in their leisure time is very helpful for their spiritual health (3.86), physical health(4.10), and self-development(4.00) 3.Quite a few students want to participate in social sports activities if they are given opportunities, but their real percentage of participation is low(2.79) 4.They think negatively of the sports facilities(2.29), and the number of sports instructors(2.26), in their neighborhood. 5.It is shown that the frequency of education experience on the leisure time activities is 2.52

      • 체육수업 개선방안에 관한 연구 : 중학교 중심으로

        The purpose of this research is to give a little help to physical education of junior high school students which are energetic in their lives. The conclusion is as follows. 1) In the physical education of junior high school, the items of the sports played with balls consist of football(47.8%), basketball(22%), volleyball(15%), and the rest(15.2%) in the case of boy students: in the case of girl students, the items consist of volleyball (26.8%), basketball)20.4%) and badminton(11. 6%). Above three kinds of sports(football. basketball, volleyball) occupied 84.8%. so I found that they were inclined to have partial physical education. 2) Boy students (25.8%) and girl students (22.4%) of student interviewees said that physical education of the classroom had been replaced with self-study. And boy students (55%) and girl students(60.4%) don't understand how much physical exercise has an effect on the growth development. When they had a physical education after finishing the examination of physical strength, boy students(47.4%) and girl students(59.2%) said that they had other school subjects, physical subject including other subjects, or self-study. And boy students(38.2%) and girl students(31.2%) never understood the value of physical education. In the interests of the physical education, boy students(80.6%) and girl students(59. 6%) are much interested in that. And last, I found that the facilities and instruments used in physical exercise in the junior high school are so good.

      • 대학 교양 체육에 관한 조사연구 : 대구시내 남·여 대학생을 중심으로 Covering the university students in TaeGu City

        The conclusion of this research study for 800 university students (400 male students, 400 female students) in Taegu city is as follows. 1. The number of items which are taught in physical education class in both spring and fall semester is for the most part 1 or 2items. 2. The item in both spring and fall semester is the same in 38.25% of male students and 50.25% of female students. 3. The theory in physical education class is not regarded as important in 38.5% of male students and 31.75% of female students. 4. The purpose and aim of physical education is never taught for one year in 25.5% of male students and 35.5% of female students. 5. The influence of physical education on the cultivation of character is not recognized in 45.75% of male students, and 41% of female students. 6. Most of both male and female students have got a chance one time in a special class out side the school (swimming in 56.86% of male students and bowling in 41.16% of female students) 7. The physical education between high school and university make a little difference in 33.5% of male students, and 25.5% of female students. 8. The influence of physical education for one year on the physical activities of the future is regarded as useful in 60.75% of male students and 50.75% of female students.
