        새로운 Authracycline 계 항암성 항생물질 DA-125 의 랫드에 대한 4주 용량설정시험 ( DRF ) 과 13 주 아급성 독성시험

        This study was conducted to investigate the repeated dose toxicity of DA-125, a new anthracycline antitumor antibiotic, in rats. Before the 13-week main study, a 4-week dose-range finding (DRF) study was carried out. The administration of DA-125 intravenously at dosage levels of 0, 0.125, 0.5, 2.0, and 8.0 ㎎/㎏/day to rats for 4 weeks resulted in premature deaths of all animals in the 8.0 ㎎/㎏/day group and in the deaths of 4 males and 4 females at 2.0 ㎎/㎏/day. Body weights were markedly reduced in the 8.0 ㎎/㎏/day group and showed dose-related decreases in all treatment groups when compared with the control group. Reductions in weight gain were slight and not significantly different at 0.125 ㎎/㎏/day but animals receiving 0.5 ㎎/㎏/day showed more marked decreases in gain in a clear dose-related manner. Based on the results of the above DRF study, a 13-week repeated dose intravenous toxicity study in rats with DA-125 was performed at a dose level of 0, 0.012, 0.08 and 0.3 ㎎/㎏/day. No treatment related effects were noted in behavior or body weight in all treatment groups. One male at the highest dose level died on study day 26, but the death could not be related to test article toxicity. Swelling and scabbing of the ears was present in all of the groups, including the control group. There were no treatment related changes in the hematological, biochemical or urinalysis values in all treatment groups. Thymus weights were significantly reduced in males receiving 0.3 ㎎/㎏/day and they were sligltly, and not significantly, reduced in females of the same group. While there were no associated histological changes. Treatment related necrosis was found in the tail vein (injection site) at 0.08 and 0.3 ㎎/㎏/day. On the basis of these results, the no observed effect level (NOEL) was 0.012 ㎎/㎏/day and the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) was estimated to be more than 0.3 ㎎/㎏/day under the conditions tested.

        Intrinsic Bauschinger Effect and Recoverable Plasticity in Pentatwinned Silver Nanowires Tested in Tension

        <P>Silver nanowires are promising components of flexible electronics such as interconnects and touch displays. Despite the expected cyclic loading in these applications, characterization of the cyclic mechanical behavior of chemically synthesized high-quality nanowires has not been reported. Here, we combine in situ TEM tensile tests and atomistic simulations to characterize the cyclic stress–strain behavior and plasticity mechanisms of pentatwinned silver nanowires with diameters thinner than 120 nm. The experimental measurements were enabled by a novel system allowing displacement-controlled tensile testing of nanowires, which also affords higher resolution for capturing stress–strain curves. We observe the Bauschinger effect, that is, asymmetric plastic flow, and partial recovery of the plastic deformation upon unloading. TEM observations and atomistic simulations reveal that these processes occur due to the pentatwinned structure and emerge from reversible dislocation activity. While the incipient plastic mechanism through the nucleation of stacking fault decahedrons (SFDs) is fully reversible, plasticity becomes only partially reversible as intersecting SFDs lead to dislocation reactions and entanglements.         국내 양곡 터미널 효율성 분석에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 국내 양곡 터미널 효율성 평가를 위해 DEA-SBM Window 및 DEA-Window 분석을 진행하였다. 분석 대상은 국내 9개의 양곡 화물 전용 터미널을 대상으로 하였다. DEA-SBM-Window 분석 결과, 선광(군산) 터미널이 0.924의 효율성이 도출되어 가장 효율성이 높은 터미널로 나타났다. DEA-Window 분석 결과, DEA-SBM-Window와 비슷한 추세로 선광(군산) 터미널이 0.937의 효율성을 보여 전 기간 평균 1위 터미널로 도출되었으며, 울산항의 태영인더스트리 터미널이 0.934로 평균 상위 2위 효율성을 기록했다. 본 연구는 국내 양곡 터미널의 운영 효율 개선을 위한 정부 부처 및 항만공사 등의 정책 입안 자료로서 활용 가능하다. This study conducted DEA-SBM Window and DEA-Window analyses to evaluate the operational efficiency of domestic grain terminals. The subjects of analysis were nine domestic grain cargo terminals. In the result of the DEA-SBM-Window analysis, Seongwang (Gunsan) terminal was found to be the most efficient terminal as an efficiency of 0.924 was derived. In the result of the DEA-Window analysis, in a similar trend to DEA-SBM-Window, the Sunkwang (Gunsan) terminal showed an efficiency of 0.937 thereby being derived as the number one terminal on average over the entire period, and the Taeyoung Industry Terminal in Ulsan Port recorded the second highest average efficiency with 0.934. This study can be used as policymaking data of government ministries and port corporations to improve the operational efficiency of domestic grain terminals.
