The purpose of this paper is to identify the mind wounds of adolescents at bringing up institutions, to apply a bibliotherapy to them, and to make a book list according to their mind wounds.
A bibliotherapy is using books for healing people's psychological or emotional wounds. People are cured through books in the process of identification, catharsis, and insight.
With this approach, this paper first identifies the mind wounds of adolescents at bringing up institutions as the following.
1. a longing for and hostile feeling to their parents
2. the shame because of living at bringing up institutions
3. the low self-confidence from not doing well at school
4. the uncertainty of the future
5. hard lives at bringing up institutions
Second, this paper makes an experiment with two adolescents at bringing up institutions for the application of bibliotherapy. Through this experiment, this paper identifies there are some possibilities that books heal adolescents' mind wounds and change their negative thoughts for positive ones. Also this paper identifies which kinds of books impress and cure adolescents.
Finally, this paper presents a book list through a survey of which books impress and cure adolescents. This book list is arranged according to the kinds of their mind wounds. Also there is an explanation of each book which can be available to cure adolescent's mind wounds at bringing up institutions.
