As a part of analysis of factors influencing workers'' psychosocial wellbeing, it is increasingly necessary to evaluate their daily hassles, which is off-job, in addition to job stress. Most researches on workers'' psychosocial wellbeing, however, have been focused on job stress and there have been few researches on the relationship between daily hassles and psychosocial wellbeing.The present study analyzed the effects of daily hassles and job stress on workers'' psychosocial wellbeing. For the analysis, it surveyed 738 subjects, which were 215 office workers, 397 manufacturing workers and 126 service workers, with regard to their general characteristics, occupational characteristics, job stress, daily hassles, supervisors'' support, coworkers'' support, families'' support, friends-acquaintances'' support and psychosocial wellbeing. The results of the study are as follows.First, daily hassles was more closely correlated with psychosocial wellbeing than job stress.Second, when daily sleeping time was short, the number of service years was low and satisfaction with wage was low, psychosocial wellbeing was significantly poor. When job latitude, a part of job stress, was low and when daily hassles related to interpersonal relations, family and daily life, health and busy life was high, psychosocial wellbeing was poor. In addition, when supervisors'' support and coworkers'' support were low, psychosocial wellbeing was poor.In conclusion, in order to analyze factors affecting workers'' psychosocial wellbeing, it is necessary to evaluate not only job stress but also daily hassles. Moreover, employers need to make efforts to reduce workers'' job stress at workplace and individual workers need to make efforts to reduce daily hassles related to interpersonal relations, family and daily life and busy life. Furthermore, the government should prepare multilateral plans to reduce daily hassles as well as job stress and provide various material supports in order to improve workers'' mental health.
