The purpose of this study is to suggest a basic data for improvement of service surroundings and job satisfaction of day nursery teachers by grasping in private day nursery.
Under these circumstances, interest nursery have increased at an alarming pace. The day nursery teachers who influence the children play an important role in this respect.
They contribute increasingly to the work and provide the best nursery service as they feel satisfied with the working environment they face.
Accordingly, it is fundamentally important to understand under which conditions the day nursery teachers work and how much they are satisfied with the work.
This dissertation studies the satisfaction of the working conditions of the day nursery teachers by both referring to various literatures and performing surveys in order to achieve the aim.
The day nursery teachers in a private day nursery located in the province of chungbuk were chosen for this survey and a couple of points were made in order to grasp the concept of work satisfaction as follows.
First, what do the day nursery teachers think about the working conditions of the private day nursery?
Second, how is the work satisfaction of the day nursery teachers shown?
The result from this survey show as follows.
First, the younger or the older they are, the higher education they have, the longer they work in a facility, the higher the work satisfaction becomes.
Second, financial rewards play a pivotal role in work satisfaction of the day nursery teachersin each facility.
Third, the interrelation between the working conditions and work satisfaction shows that role conflict and excessive workload lead to the low work satisfaction while friendly working environments such as promotion challenge, comfort, work itself, supervision, recognition, operation of the center, personal relations and role ambiguity result in high work satisfaction.
Fourth, it turned our that operation of the center, supervision, promotion and financial rewards are the factors that contribute greatly to the work satisfaction.
Each other should be given and supervisors of the facility should let the day nursery teachers feel comfortable with them so that they can be easily in contact with the supervisors, It is also important to set up some schemes that keep the parents from interfering with the specialists.
