콜라주 일러스트레이션 연구 : 동화책 작가를 중심으로 = Study for the Collage Patterns on Illustrations : With an emphasis on the author's of children's book

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대의 시각 예술은 시대 속에서 체험하는 생생한 감정과 경험의 표현이고 인간과 사회를 연결하는 수단이다. 또한 다각적인 메시지 전달로 대중과 진정한 공감대를 형성할 수 있다.
일러스트레이션도 다른 창작분야와 같이 새로운 표현수단을 필요로 하면서 발전하고 있다. 그러한 시점에서 볼 때 보다 새로운 발상과 표현 방법으로 효과적인 시각전달을 꾀할 수 있을 것이다. 우리는 최근의 사각표현에 있어서 입체성에 대한 빈곤함을 느낄 수 있다. 이에 일러스트레이션도 일반적인 시각전달 기능만을 위한 인쇄나 복제의 표현에서 벗어나 조형 요소가 중심이 되는 다양한 표현을 필요로 하고 있다. 그러므로 생활에서 쉽게 얻을 수 있는 재료들을 사용한 이 작업들은 새로운 의미의 개념으로 대중에게 전달되어 지도록 유도한 것이다.
시각화에 의한 우리들의 생각의 전달이 시각적인 표현을 통한 사람들 간의 의미 교환이라고 볼 때 단순히 보여지는 평면적인 전달에서 벗어나 대중을 설득하는 목적으로 다양한 공간적 기법을 일러스트레이션에 도입함으로써 시각 전달의 효과를 극대화 하고자 한다.
본 논문에서는 일러스트레이션의 개념 및 흐름을 알아보고, 그 종류에 대하여 살펴보았다. 콜라주에서는 콜라주의 표현재료를 살펴보았다. 또한 콜라주 일러스트레이션에 대한 고찰과 표현재료 그리고 콜라주 일러스트레이션의 의의와 표현형색과 확대 양상을 살펴볼 것이다.
끝으로, 실질적으로 동화책에 나타난 콜라주 일러스트레이션을 중심으로 작가들의 재료, 기법 그리고 형식에 대한 분석을 통한 결과 도출로 마무리 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Visual art in modern times is both an expression of emotion and experiences people have in their own times and a means to bridge humans and their society. In addition it should also be able to form a veritable ground for the masses to share with the artist by delivering multi-faceted messages.
Just as any creative arts, illustration is developing through an increasingly novel set of means to express what the artists intend. It is in this context that artists can expect effective delivery of visual messages through creative and new methods of expression. People often feel a lack of vividness in expressions through visual means. In other words, illustration also needs a variety of means to express ideas by not just using printing or copying techniques but one that displays features in formative arts. Therefore, works introduced in this paper can be seen as a departure from familiar patterns of creation in the sense that they mostly used materials readily available in our daily lives.
As delivering ideas through visualization can be defined as an exchange of ideas between the artist and the masses through visual means, a number of different spatial techniques were used to get the message across with the masses departing from simply plane delivery of ideas. This way, the illustration works may best deliver messages through visualization.
This paper studies concepts, trends, and kinds of illustration. In the collage part, the paper studies expressive means of collage and concepts used in collage and examines collage materials generally used in paintings. It also examines collage illustration, materials used in the art form, and the implications, expressive means, and possible shapes of that category in the future.
Lastly, the paper focuses on collage illustration actually applied in fairy tales and examines the materials, techniques, and types of the art form to produce a conclusion.
