인터넷 동영상을 활용한 음악감상 교수-학습의 개발 및 적용 = (The) Appreciation of Music Through Utilizing Internet Image Development of Teaching-Learning Method & Its Application

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대는 급속히 변화하는 정보화 사회이다. 이에 맞는 사회적 요구를 충족시키기 위하여 새로운 교육이 요구된다. 따라서 교육내용 및 교수-학습 방법의 변화, 교수 매체를 활용한 학습에 대한 연구가 요청되고, 최근에는 뉴미디어를 교육분야에 도입함으로써 정보화 시대에 적극적으로 대응할 수 있는 교육의 실시를 주장하고 있다.
본 연구는 구성주의 학습이론의 근거에 따라 음악 감상학습의 효율화를 위한 방안으로써 학교 현장에서 비교적 용이하게 사용될 수 있는 인터넷 동영상을 교수-학습의 도구로 활용한 교수-학습 모형을 개발하고 실제 음악 감상 수업에 적용해 봄으로써 인터넷 동영상을 활용한 음악 감상 교수-학습 모형의 교육 현장 수업으로의 적용 가능성을 탐색해 보는 것을 목적으로 한다.
이를 위한 이론적 배경으로 구성주의 학습이론과 음악 감상에서의 음악 개념적 접근 방법에 관하여 살펴보았고, 문헌 및 선행연구를 통하여 동영상 매체의 유용성을 논하였으며, 실제적인 음악감상 교수-학습 모형 개발의 기초로 여러 학자들이 주장하는 음악 감상의 유형과 단계 및 지도 방법에 관하여 고찰하였다. 따라서 이와 같은 내용을 기저로 음악 감상 교수-학습의 과정과 동영상 매체의 교수 매체적 특성을 유효 적절하게 결합한 ‘인터넷 동영상을 활용한 음악 감상 교수-학습 모형’을 개발하였다.
이 교수-학습 모형의 진행순서는 첫째, 준비단계 둘째, 동영상 제시 단계 셋째, 음악적 개념 탐색 및 발견 단계 넷째, 음악 표현 활동의 전개 단계 다섯째, 표현 활동 결과의 정리 및 발표 단계 여섯째, 반성 및 평가 단계로 설계하였고 각 단계는 연속성이 유지되도록 하였으며 각 단계별 과정을 구체적으로 제시하였다.
이를 실제 현장 수업에 적용하기 위하여 보통 1주에 3차시 분량으로 수업안을 작성하여 활용하였다. 적용은 인천광역시 소재 B초등학교 3학년 1학급 38명의 학습자를 대상으로 한달간 진행되었으며, 연구 방법은 질적연구 방법에 따라 학습자들의 개인저널 및 자기평가와 동료평가, 학습자들의 반응을 관찰한 내용, 녹음 자료, 면담 자료 등을 수집하여 수업의 적용 결과를 분석, 해석하였다.
연구결과, 인터넷 동영상을 활용한 음악 감상 교수-학습은 음악 감상 학습력의 향상에 긍정적인 효과를 가져올 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.
인터넷 동영상을 활용함으로써 학습자들이 음악 감상 학습에 자발적이고 적극적으로 참여하였고, 학습자들에게 연주 실황이라는 간접적인 경험의 제공을 통해 학습 의욕 및 흥미를 증진시켜 결국 그들의 동기 유발을 자극시킬 수 있었으며, 학습자는 주의 집중을 하게 되고 그 주의를 지속시켜 음악 개념 요소를 스스로 다양하고 창의적으로 탐색하여 음악적 표현 방법을 습득하는데 효과가 있었다. 또한 이러한 학습 의욕 및 태도의 향상으로 학습자들은 교수-학습 후 스스로 열심히 공부할 수 있다는 자신감을 갖게 되었으며 교수-학습의 모둠별 협동학습을 통해 학습자간 상호 협조적인 인간관계를 익히고 학습에 대한 책임감과 더불어 다른 사람의 의견을 존중하는 모습을 보였다.

Currently, we are facing a rapid changing stage of trend into information society. To meet those needs & requirements of trend adequately, such new educational systems are inevitably needed.
Accordingly, such systematic changes in quality education and teaching & learning method are required, and it's often claimed that implementation of new system by adopting new media into educational field is necessary in order to keep up with the trend of information-centered society.
Consequently, the purpose of this study is, according to the basis of constructivism educational theory, at first, developing such adequate new educational models by utilizing Internet image as main tool for effective music appreciation, thereby people are able to use those new models in the field of education with ease and, secondly by applying the models to practical use for music appreciation, finding out the possibility & applicability of those new teaching & learning models for the use of the educational field.
We have talked about the conceptual access method of music appreciation & constructivism educational theory and also we have discussed the applicability of Internet image medium through preceding reseach & referrring to related literatures and then, for the very basis on the development of new teaching-learning model, we have tackled on such details as type of music appreciation, necessary steps & teaching-learning methods often insisted by a number of scholars. According to and based on the contents above, new educational model of Internet image has been developed by consolidating good aspects of teaching-learning procedure in music appreciation and teaching characteristic of Internet image medium effectively and adequately.
The procedure of this new teaching-learning model is as follows: First, proposition stage, Second, presentation of imge, Third, research on musical conception & discovery, Fourth, expressional activity stage into music, Fifth, adjustment of expressional activity & presentation, and Lastly, feed-back & evaluation stage. And each of those procedures was presented very specifically with masking the sequence of each step maintained.
In order to apply this new model to actual lesson, test operation has been conducted for 1 month against 38 students of Inchon B elementary school, average 3 times a week with several research methods being used based on qualitative research, in which such means as personal journals by each learner, self-valuation, response & reaction report, recording information and interview results were collected from each learner and thereby we check on the applicability and analyzed and interpreted the collected information and results.
According to the research, we came to know that music appreciation through using Internet image could bring positive effects to improvement of teaching-learning in many ways.
By using the Internet image, most learners have participated the class in an active & voluntary manner, and through the indirect experience of live perfomance, not only they have been motivated to be interested in the lesson but they could focus on each stage of learning and maintain their focus into the lesson, making it very effective for each learner to have creative research and acquire musical expression methods. And also learners could have confidence in studying themselves by being keenly enthusiastic and motivated and at the same time, by conducting a group study, they could learn cooperative relationship with others and sense of responsibility against studying.
