아내폭력 노출이 청소년의 내재화 및 외현화 문제에 미치는 영향 : 부모-자녀 관계의 조절효과를 중심으로 = (The) influence of exposure to marital violence on adolescent's internalizing and externalizing problems : focused on the moderating effect of parent-adolescent relationship

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 아내폭력 노출이 청소년의 내재화 및 외현화 문제에 미치는 영향을 살펴봄과 동시에 부모-자녀 관계가 아내폭력 노출이 청소년의 내재화 및 외현화 문제에 영향을 미치는 관계에서 어떠한 방향으로 조절효과를 보이는가를 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 조사 대상자는 서울특별시 중학교 2, 3학년과 고등학교 1, 2학년에 재학 중인 청소년으로 총 1356명이다. 자료수집방법은 자기기입식(self-administrated) 설문 방법을 사용하였으며, 조사는 2001년 10월 13일부터 27일까지 실시되었다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. /첫째, 지난 1년간 청소년의 55%가 어떠한 형태로든 아버지가 어머니에게 폭력을 행사하는 장면에 노출되었다. 이를 유형별로 살펴보면, 조사 대상 청소년의 49.4%가 지난 1년간 아버지가 어머니에게 언어적 폭력을 행사하는 장면에 노출되었고, 조사 대상 청소년의 34.1%가 지난 1년 동안 아버지가 어머니에게 어떠한 형태로든 신체적 폭력을 행사하는 장면에 노출된 것으로 나타났다./둘째, 지난 1년간 경미한 수준의 신체적 아내폭력에 노출된 청소년은 성별과 무관하게 그렇지 않은 청소년에 비해 높은 수준의 우울/불안과 공격성을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 지난 1년간 언어적 폭력에 노출된 남자 청소년은 그렇지 않은 남자 청소년에 비해 높은 수준의 공격성을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 지난 1년간 심각한 수준의 신체적 아내폭력에 노출된 남자 청소년은 그렇지 않은 남자 청소년에 비해 높은 수준의 공격성을 보인 반면, 심각한 신체적 아내폭력에 노출된 여자 청소년은 그렇지 않은 여자 청소년에 비해 높은 수준의 우울/불안을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. /셋째, 지난 1년 동안

The purposes of this study are to analyse the influences of exposure to marital violence on adolescent's internalizing and externalizing problems and to illuminate the moderating effects of parent-adolescent relationship in the association of exposure to marital violence and adolescent's internalizing and externalizing problems. The study subject was 1356 adolescents in the second and third grade of middle school and the first and second grade of high school in Seoul. The data was collected by a self-administerd survey method from October 13 to 27 in 2001. The major findings are as follows : /First, 55% of adolescent were exposed to at least one incident during the past one year, in which their fathers used any verbal or physical violence to their mothers. In detail, 49.4% of adolescent were exposed to at least one incident during the past one year, in which their fathers used verbal violence to their mothers. 34.1% reported the exposure to any form of husband-to-wife violence during the last one year. /Second, adolescents exposed to marital violence during the past one year exhibited high level of depression/anxiety and aggressiveness than adolescents who were not exposed. Male adolescents exposed to verbal marital violence during the last one year exhibited high level of aggressiveness than male adolescents who were not exposed. Furthermore, male adolescents exposed to serious physical marital violence during the past one year exhibited high level of aggressiveness than male adolescents who were not exposed, while female adolescents reported high level of depression/anxiety. /Third, although adolescents including male and female were exposed to marital violence equally during the past one year, adolescents having high level of trust with their mothers or fathers exhibited low level of depression/anxiety than adolescents having low level of trust with their parents.
