언어적 지능을 활용한 교수-학습방법이 학업성취에 미치는 효과 = The Effect of Instruction Using Linguistic Intelligence on Academic Achievement

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 학생들의 개인차를 고려한 교수-학습방법의 개발이라는 측면에서 언어적 지능을 활용한 수업방법을 교육 현장에 적용하여 보고 그 효과를 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 연구 목적을 위하여 다음과 같은 연구 문제를 설정하였다.1) 언어적 지능을 활용한 교수-학습방법이 국어 학업성취 향상에 도움이 되는가?2) 언어적 지능을 활용한 교수-학습방법이 쓰기 능력 향상에 도움이 되는가?3) 언어적 지능을 활용한 국어과 교수-학습방법의 효과가 학생들의 지능 유형에 따라 다르게 나타나는가? ① 언어적 지능 상, 중, 하 집단에 따라 언어적 지능을 활용한 국어과 교수-학습방법의 효과가 다르게 나타나는가? ② 학생들이 강점을 가지는 7가지 지능 집단에 따라 언어적 지능을 활용한 국어과 교수-학습방법의 효과가 다르게 나타나는가? 본 연구는 언어적 지능을 활용한 국어과 교수-학습방법으로 녹음하기, 낱말게임, 이야기하기 등을 적용하였고, 초등학교 4학년 1개 반 30명을 대상으로 4주에 걸쳐 수업을 진행하였다. 연구도구로는 Armstrong의 교사 체크리스트, 다중지능검사지, 3, 4월 국어과 학업성취도 평가를 사용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다.1) 언어적 지능을 활용한 국어과 교수-학습방법을 사용한 후 학생들의 국어과 학업성취도가 향상되었다. 2) 언어적 지능을 활용한 국어과 교수-학습방법을 사용한 후 학생들의 글쓰기 점수가 향상되었다.3) 지능 유형별 수업의 효과 ① 언어적 지능 점수의 상, 중, 하 집단에 따라 언어적 지능을 활용한 국어과 교수-학습방법이 학업성취도에 미친 효과는 차이가 있었다. ② 7가지 지능 유형별로 언어적 지능을 활용한 국어과 교수-학습

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of instruction using linguistic intelligence on academic achievement. The questions for this study are followings : 1) Is instruction using linguistic intelligence effective in improving academic achievement?2) Is instruction using linguistic intelligence effective in improving writing ability?3) In the effect of instruction using linguistic intelligence, is there any difference among intelligence groups? ① In the effect of instruction using linguistic intelligence, is there any difference among three linguistic intelligence groups? ② In the effect of instruction using linguistic intelligence, is there any difference among 7 intelligence groups? In this study, instruction using linguistic intelligence based on recording, word game, storytelling was applied to the language class. The subjects were 30 fourth graders in elementary school. Teacher's checklist, multiple intelligence test, academic achievement test were used. The findings of this study are summarized as follows:1) After applying linguistic instructional method, all the students in the classroom had improvement in academic achievement test.2) After applying linguistic instructional method, all the students in the classroom had improvement in writing test score.3) In the effect of instruction using linguistic intelligence, there was significant difference among three linguistic intelligence groups in improvement of academic achievement test score. There was significant difference among 7 intelligence groups in improvement of writing test score. The following conclusions are made on basis of the results :1) Instruction using linguistic intelligence is effective in improving academic achievement.2) Instruction using linguistic intelligence is effective in improving writing ability.3) The effect of instruction using linguistic intelligence is different among intelligence groups.
