생물학적 범죄원인론에 대한 현대적 접근 : 뇌의 이상과 특정유전현상을 중심으로 = Modern approach of communication biological theories of crime -Focused on Abnormality of brain and specific gene expression-

About 100 years ago Cesare Lombroso insisted inborn criminal theory. That is to say criminal is not produced he was born that way. Since then he’s taken a lot of flak for his views. He struggled, but his job went for naught. In the 100years since Cesare Lombroso's opinion is indebted to the advance of modern science. The concept of a born criminal by Cesare Lombroso is insisted by biological crime etiology and hereditism that ancient criminal gene inherited from the very early origin is revealed in later generations.
In this paper I have attempted to demonstrate the Cesare Lombroso's concept of a born criminal by virtue of modern science. I started from understanding of the titles in the parts on brain and I also demonstrated that past shocking experiences or psychological trauma desensitize to psychopath's brain. I demonstratded insensitive psychopath's brain can't feel a sense of guilt for killing many innocent people, and a chain of crime cases happen also. This paper attempts to postulate on why certain damage of the brain cause incorrect function and crime.
Building on the comparative analysis about men's and women's structure of brain, I hypothesized that re-offending rates stem from difference of human's brain. In case of women, with development of linguistic and a sense of empathy, whereas In case of men systematized area of the right hemisphere's is developed, men have higher chance of committing a crime. In reference to the connection between crime and gene, I tried to explain about how the gene have a decisive effect to person appearance through Down's syndrome and unique lips shape of Hamburg family.
In matters of the effects that gene's influence on inner side, I give a detailed account through the criminal records survey about both of birth parent and adoptive parents. If both of birth parent and adoptive parents have criminal records, it had the most highest incidence of crime so I could discover not only biological factor but also sociological factor is very significant if genetic factor is revealed to crime.
In relation to XYY gene variation including violent gene, hereditary disease like ADHD and MAO, I also explain hereditary diseases generate violent tendency and is connected to crime. In this text, in connection with the relationship between gene and crime, I explained both biological and sociological crime causes have a big impact on criminal act on a fifty-fifty probability. But there is a lack of researches into biological crime etiology.
In conclusion, in order to modern scientific proves about Lombroso's theories and
hypotheses, more researches have to be performed.
