Business organizations need to implement consistent efforts for innovation and challenges required by the industrial advancement and environmental changes. Accordingly, employees should endeavor consistently to meet those requirements and they tend to get a stress from the imbalance between the goals of individuals and companies.
This study comprehensively and positively analyzed the relationship of the transformational leadership, psychological capital, and organization members' attitudes.
For this study, data were collected from the staffs in automobile parts companies located in Ulsan Metropolitan City. In total, 250 questionnaires were distributed and 200 answered questionnaires are used for the analysis to test the hypothetical relationships in this study. SPSS 12.0 was utilized for frequency analysis, the reliability analysis, the factor analysis, and regression analysis.
Major findings are as follows: First, the transformational leadership influenced negatively member's job stress. Secondly, the psychological capital of members did not influence members' job stress interactively with psychological capital. Thirdly, organization member's psychological capital influenced negatively members' job stress.
This study contributes the theoretical understanding of the effects of leadership and psychological capital on the job stress. Limitations and suggestions for the future study are mentioned.
