For a primary study, 'Lee, Dong-An' Style Salpuri Dance is study of literature and demonstrations were focused, as an ethnographic study. thu, it's study of to its origin and artistic characteristics, and so the tradition of lineage and move on art activities of Lee, Dong-An whom a choreographer of this dance.
Study of demonstration is refine Through my experience with a Graduates of 'Lee, Dong-An' Style Salpuri Dance, and analyzed to video data of 'Kim, Bok-Ryeon' and 'Jeong, Kyung-Pa'which a real those tradition of this dance. this studies are used to more practical and functional analysis of the dance movements.
As a primary studies, 2nd study is used Seymour Chatman's narrative discourse theory and an elements of eastern aesthetics of "Eumyu-Yanggang" that the harmony of Yin and Yang in the Book of Changes for finding out aesthetic structure and narrative structure of this dance.
'Lee, Dong-An' Style Salpuri Dance is an original simple tale. so it was a shaman dance performed at shaman rituals to appease spirits of the dead and lead them to heaven in order to avoid misfortune.

The research results are as follows :
