      The current study is a study on child care teachers' job satisfaction in national and public-founded private․domestic child care facilities in Ulsan city and aims to examine teachers' sociological characteristics and overall job satisfaction, and improve desirable working environments that child care teachers who are play an important role in enhancing the qualitative level can perform their duties in more stable settings.
      The findings obtained through the current study are as follows:
      First, as a result of examining child care teachers' job satisfaction depending on the central body operating child care facilities, like the findingf of preliminary studies of Jung Hee Huh(2005), Geun Hee Kim(2007), and Myung Yim Jun(2007) child care teachers' job satisfaction in national and public-founded child care facilities appeared to be higher than that of child care teachers in private child care facilities and domestic child care facilities.
      And as a result of an analysis on the difference between groups in job satisfaction depending on teachers' academic background, statistically significant differences were found. When their academic background was higher than college graduation, job satisfaction was high and job First, in order to improve factors to affect child care teachers' job satisfaction it is necessary to institutionalize child care teachers' wage realistically and support by social welfare policy is required. Active efforts are needed to pay across the board including legislation or support etc to strengthen support such as teachers' betterment of labor conditions.
      The first place of the lowest factors in job satisfaction among 5 sub-factors to compose job satisfaction appeared to be pay, and the second place was work environment, and the third place appeared to be social recognition. Therefore, above all, improvement should be made in the sectors of pay and work environment.
      In addition, efforts are urgent to improve work conditions of child care facilities. It is necessary to prepare spatial settings facilities to value the characteristics of child care facilities and work conditions where various educations are provided and effective educational activities can be conducted. The government should support and invest in child care facilities as its top priority and teaching materials and tools should be supported continuously for teachers and children. Child care teachers should devote themselves to interaction with infants and toddlers which is their main role with passions for child care in comfortable working conditions in my view.
