      The objective of the study is to investigate the influence of education activities that have been implemented in middle and high school’s technology education and to develop the instrument for measuring the technological thinking disposition to enhance the study related to technological thinking for the technology education.
      The study was conducted with the survey and literature research. In the literature research, the concepts of technology, thinking, and thinking disposition were evaluated and the factors composing thinking and technological thinking were searched. As of the result, total of 156 thinking factors were concluded.
      As for the survey, expert consultation discussion was made first and Delphi research and factor analysis were followed. In order to get advice on overall process of the study and to secure the validity and suitability for the survey, 2 professors and 5 teachers related to technological education participated in the discussion. Throughout the discussion, 77 factors out of the 156 thinking factors were selected as the element composing technological thinking and 86 inquires were chosen after reviewing preliminary survey inquires. Delphi investigations were conducted for four times. The number of members for Delphi investigation was 25 and all of them are professional in technology education including 12 of professors and researcher and 13 of teachers. The members gave an opinion on feasibility of inquires and selected 67 inquires for the survey.
      Factor analysis was employed two times. For the factor analysis, the survey was also conducted for two times after classifying middle and high school students according to 4 provinces, Seoul & Kyungi, Chungcheong, Kyungsang, and Junra. 1,704 students were surveyed for the first factor analysis and 1,809 students for the second.
      In the first factor analysis, 6 initial factors were induced after applying maximum likelihood extraction method to induce the initial factors. VARIMAX method was adopted to rotate the factors. The reliability of each factor showed from .779 to .897 which means it’s reliable. Based on the first factor analysis, 38 survey inquires were selected for the second factor analysis.
      In the second factor analysis, 6 initial factors were also induced. However, in the analysis, principal diagonal ingredient factor extraction method was employed to induce the initial factors. VARIMAX method was adopted to rotate the factors and with this method, the structure of factor matrix was revealed. Then, the initial factors were divided as technological curiosity disposition, technological analyze disposition, technological problem identifying and resolving disposition, technological creativity and expression disposition, technological operating disposition and technological planning and reflecting disposition. It was apparent that factors in each disposition group had unique features. Also the reliability of each factor showed from .774 to .884 which means the factor is reliable. With the second factor analysis, the instrument for measuring technological disposition composed of 38 inquires could develop.
