여성결혼이민자의 학습 경험에 대한 생애사 연구 : 울산광역시 베트남 여성결혼이민자를 중심으로 = (A) study on the learning experience of the female immigrants for marriage through their Life History

국문 초록 (Abstract)

여성결혼이민자들이 우리 사회의 모든 구성원들과 함께 어울리고 동등하게 소통하며 살아갈 수 있는 진정한 다문화사회를 만들기 위해 그들이 한국사회에서 경험한 다양한 학습을 이해하고 탐색하는 과정은 매우 중요하다. 본 연구는 다문화 교육프로그램에 참여한 경험이 있는 여성결혼이민자들을 중심으로 형식교육기관의 학습경험과 함께 그들이 일상생활 속에서 경험한 다양한 실천들과 긴밀하게 결합된 학습경험의 내용과 과정을 그들의 생애사를 통해 상세히 기술하고 고찰하고자 하였다.
본 연구에서는 한국에 거주한지 만 3년 이상이 된 울산광역시의 베트남 여성결혼이민자 10명을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 현재 한국사회에 어떠한 학습경험의 과정과 내용으로 변화, 성장, 발전하였는지, 그리고 가족과의 관계 속에서 어떠한 학습을 경험했는지, 지역사회의 일원으로써 생활하면서 어떠한 학습을 경험했는지를 심층면담을 통해 살펴보았다. 연구결과 연구 참여자들은 보다 나은 한국에서의 삶을 위하여 자신들이 그동안 가지고 있던 삶의 목표, 가치관, 태도 등에 여러 가지 환경의 영향으로 변화를 겪으며 새로운 사회에 적응하기 위하여 일상생활 속에서 가족과 이웃, 지역사회와 함께 다양한 학습을 경험한다. 여성결혼이민자들은 이와 같은 학습경험의 생애사를 통하여 개인의 체험(體驗), 성숙(成熟), 변화(變化), 성장(成長)의 과정을 겪게 된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In order to make a true multi-cultural society where female immigrants for marriage can continue their living by associating together and communicating equally, the process to understand and explore the diversified learning that they have experienced in Korean societies. This study was intended to describe and consider in details the contents and processes of learning experience which is related closely to the diversified practice that they have experienced in their daily living, together with learning experience of the institution of the formal education, around the female immigrants for marriage who have experienced the participation in the multi-cultural education program, through their history of life.
In this study, through the discussion face to face in depth, we have looked into through which process and content of learning experience they have changed, grown up, and developed in the current korean society, which learning they have experienced in the relationship with a family, and which learning they have experienced during the daily life as a member of local community, by selecting 10 female immigrants for marriage from Vietnam as a study involver in Ul-san city, who have lived in more than 3 years in Korea. The result of study could be summarized as below.
First, the female immigrants for marriage have a hope towards an attitude for the positive and acceptance, know-how to learn more, acquisition of empirical knowledge through the learning, and being an independent subject, rather than to maintain their values, culture, and attitude which they have possessed, for the better living in Korea. Second, the female immigrants for marriage have experienced the korean culture and have a responsibility and a role for the education of their children, through the warm consideration and support by their family member. Third, the female immigrants for marriage are living within contacts with other people including their family as a member of local community, and are experiencing diversified learning experiences with the more stimulation through the contacts with them.
