초등학생 숲 체험 창작무용 프로그램 구성에 관한 연구

The children, who are growing in the modern society - the industrialization, information, variety-oriented epoch - are living without connecting the nature and have the various physical, mental problems occurred from TV, computer and after-school studies. The activities at forest, which were designed to solve those problems, purpose to enhance the nature-friendly attitude and the creative power among children through the educational activities using the natural materials, which are living with the nature.
The forest activities, which are in the limelight of many people as efficient educational activities, are now being performed by many professional organizations concerning the forest and the national parks and operated with the contents including the observation activities of natural materials, the moulding activities and the musical activities.
The forest activities as such help children enhance not only the nature-friendly attitude but also the investigation, expression, and creation power, so they need to develop programs according to various materials.
The forest has been used as material for artistic expression since the past and has give an influence to producing artistic work, providing creative insight to work construction. Accordingly, children can have the creative expression activities, exploring and imagining the natural things in the different ways each other. The children thus can develop the physical expression and the creativity through experience with using their bodies as an expression equipment. So, the creative dance, a kind of movement activity, is an activity to make his or her emotion and demand express creatively through his or her body, so it can contribute to the cognition, justice development as well as the physical one. In other words, the creative dance education is the educational activity for raising the creative persons befitting the 21th century.
This study purposed to develop the nature-friendly attitude, expressive ability, creative ability and socialization for children and, on the basement of the theory and the current situation on the forest activities and the educational value on the creative dance, presented a creative dance program using the forest natural materials - that is, some program examples befitting the characteristic by the season.
The content of this study centering on the documentary study consists of the theory and current situation of forest activities, the theory and educational value of creative dance and the value of creative dane using the natural materials, and the theoretical system was formed through collecting those and analyzing on those.
As a result, the newly developed creative dance programs for forest activities are follows:
First, the purpose, on the basement of the eco-friendly education and the creative education, is the recognition on the relationship between human being and nature and on the movement factor, the movement skill and expression ability, the creativity and the social attitude development.
Second, the contents are performed as the preparation of body and mind, the natural materials exploration, the creative dance activities and the feeling distribution, and the creative dance activity of them develops from impromptu expression to imaginary one. And the concrete teaching method makes children discover and understand the movement factors and, on the basement of the result, makes them develop imaginative ability, creative one and problem solution one.
Third, the guide method, centering on problem solution and exploration, consists of following, explaining, expressing and discussing to help strengthen the expression ability, critical thought, intellectual curiosity amon children.
Fourth, the evaluation consists of one by teacher and students and is largely divided into justice, emotion and recognition field.
The creative dance program for forest activities constructed as the above is the learning to pue influence to the nature-friendly attitude, the expression ability, the creative ability development for children and can be included into a new course within the forest activities being now performed in Korea, so, according to the course, children can harmonize the physical and mental development through the dance in the nature within city.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

산업화, 정보화, 다변화 시대인 현대사회에서 자라나는 어린이들은 자연과의 접촉이 단절된 채 살아가면서 TV와 컴퓨터, 학원교육에 의해 발생되는 다양한 신체적・정신적 문제를 가지게 되었다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 생겨난 숲 체험활동은 자연 속에 살아가고 있는 자연물을 활용한 교육활동으로 어린이의 자연친화적 태도와 창의력 향상을 목적으로 하고 있다.
효과적인 교육활동으로 각광박고 있는 숲 체험활동은 현재 여러 숲 전문단체와 국립공원 등에서 실시하고 있으며, 자연물 관찰활동과 조형 활동 및 음악활동 등의 내용으로 진행되고 있다. 이러한 숲 체험활동은 어린이의 자연친화적 태도는 물론 탐구력과 표현력, 창의력 향상에 도움을 주는 활동이므로 다양한 소재에 따른 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다.
숲의 자연물은 옛 부터 예술표현의 소재로 사용되었으며, 작품구성에 창의적 영감을 제공하여 작품 형성에 영향을 미쳤다. 어린이들은 자연물을 각기 다른 방식으로 탐색하고 상상함으로써 창의적인 표현활동을 하게 되는데, 이때 어린이들은 표현의 도구로 신체를 이용할 수 있게 됨으로써 체험을 통한 신체표현력과 창의력이 발달한다. 이에 움직임 활동인 창작무용은 신체를 통해 자신의 감정과 욕구를 창의적으로 표현하게 함으로서 인지적 발달은 물론 신체적, 정의적 발달에 기여함으로서 21세기가 추구하는 창의적인 인간 육성에 이바지 할 수 있는 교육활동이 된다.
본 연구는 어린이의 자연친화적 태도와 표현력, 창의력, 사회성 발달에 목표를 두고, 숲 체험활동의 이론 및 현황과 창작무용의 교육적 가치를 토대로 숲 자연물을 활용한 창작무용 프로그램으로 계절별 특성에 맞는 창작무용 프로그램 사례를 각각 제시하였다.
문헌연구를 중심으로 이루어진 본 연구의 내용은 숲 체험활동의 이론 및 현황과 창작무용의 이론 및 교육적 가치, 자연물을 활용한 창작무용의 가치로 구성하고 있으며, 이를 수집 · 분석하여 이론적 체계를 구축하였다.
그 결과, 새롭게 구성된 숲 체험 창작무용 프로그램은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 목표는 친환경교육과 창의성 교육을 바탕으로 인간과 자연과의 관계 및 움직임의 요소 인식, 움직임 기술 및 표현능력 발달, 창의성 및 사회적 태도 함양에 있다.
둘째, 내용은 몸과 마음열기, 자연물 탐구하기, 창작무용활동, 느낌 나누기로 전개되며, 그 가운데 창작무용활동은 즉흥표현에서 상상표현으로 발전된다. 그리고 구체적 학습방법으로는 어린이들에게 움직임의 요소를 발견 · 이해하게 하고, 이를 토대로 움직임 활동을 통한 상상력, 문제해결능력, 창작능력을 발달시킨다.
셋째, 지도방법은 문제해결하기와 탐구하기 방법을 중심으로 어린이의 표현력과 비판적 사고력, 지적 호기심을 강화시키는데 도움을 주는 따라하기, 설명하기, 발표하기, 토론하기로 이루어진다.
넷째, 평가는 교사와 학생의 평가지 및 움직임 발표로 이루어지며 크게 인지적, 심동적, 정의적 영역으로 이루어진다.
이상과 같이 구성된 숲 체험 창작무용프로그램은 어린이들의 자연친화적 태도와 표현력, 창의력 발달에 영향을 미치는 학습으로 현재 우리나라에서 실시하고 있는 숲 체험의 현장 활동 속에 새로운 과정으로 포함시킬 수 있을 것이며, 이를 통해 어린이들은 도시 속의 자연에서 무용을 통한 심신의 발달을 조화롭게 이룰 수 있을 것이다.
