적극적 부모교육프로그램이 유아기 어머니의 자기효능감과 양육태도에 미치는 효과 = The Effect of Active Parent Education Training Program On Early Childhood Mother's Self-Efficacy and Parenting Behavior

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the active parent education training program on early childhood mother's self-efficacy and parenting behavior.
The hypotheses in this study were as follows;
1. The Active parent education training program will improve early childhood mother's self-efficacy.
2. The active parent education training program will advance parenting behavior.
The subjects of this study were 28 mothers of kindergartners attending at a kindergarten in Buk-Gu, Daegu-city. Among them, 14 mothers who had applied to this program by reading the brochure of Active Parenting Today(APT) were assigned to the experimental group and another 14 mothers who hadn't applied were assigned to the control group on the basis of random sampling.
The scales of mother's self efficacy translated and developed by Woo, Hui -Jung(1993) and mother's parenting behavior developed by Park, Sung-Yeoun & Lee, Sook(1990) were used as measuring tools in this study.
To verify such two hypotheses, I proceeded each in ANCOVA with covariance variable, pre-test scores employing SPSS/WIN version 12.0. A statistical significance level for hypothesis testing was set at .05.
The conclusions of this study were as follows: first, The Active parent education training program developed in this study was effective for improving early childhood mother's self-efficacy. Second, the active parent education training program had an effect on advancing early childhood mother's parenting behavior including rational guidance, affection, achievements, positive participation, consistent regulation.
