This study attempts to determine the relationship between two leaderships, trust in and acceptance of a particular leadership and coaching effectiveness.
This study collected a sample of 759 players from the sport team of some private high schools concentrating on physhical education and sport located in the nation's 6 metropolitan areas. this study utilized explorator factor analysis of the variables set for the study using SPSS version 12.0 and AMOS version 4.0 th verify the adequacy and reliability of sample data, and used Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient, confirmatory factor analysis and regression analysis. In addition, the structural equation modeling was used th assess the adequacy of the structural equation model of this study.
The analysis results supported the following conclusions:
First, charismatic leadership had a positive effect on trust in a particular leadership.
Second, transactional leadership had a positive effect on trust in a particular leadership.
Third, charismatic leadership had a positive effect on the acceptance of a particular leadership.
Fourth, transactional leadership had a positive effect on the acceptance of a particular leadership.
Fifth, charismatic leadership had a positive effect on coaching effectiveness.
Sixth, transactional leadership had a positive effect on coaching effectiveness.
Seventh, such variables as trust had a positive effect on coaching effectiveness.
Eighth, such variables as acceptance had a positive effect on coaching effectiveness.
Ninth, such variable as acceptance of a particular leadership played a catalytic role at a significant level in having the effect of charismatic and transactional leadership on coaching effectiveness, with a positive effect on coaching effectiveness.
