대학생의 대학환경풍토지각과 대학생활적응 및 학업성취도간의 관계연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 대학생들을 대상으로 대학생의 대학환경풍토지각에 따라 대학생활적응, 학업성취도와의 관계를 분석하고, 대학생활적응과 학업성취도에 영향을 주는 대학환경풍토지각의 특성을 밝히고 어떻게 반영되는가를 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이 연구목적을 달성하기 위한 구체적인 연구내용은 다음과 같다.첫째, 대학생들이 지각하는 대학환경풍토는 어떤 차이가 있는가?둘째, 대학생들의 대학생활적응은 어떤 차이가 있는가?셋째, 대학생들이 지각하는 주관적 학업성취수준은 어떤 차이가 있는가?넷째, 대학생들이 지각하는 대학환경풍토와 대학생활적응, 학업성취도간의 관계는 어떠한가?이와 같은 연구문제를 알아보기 위해서 서울에 소재한 4년제 Y대학교, S대학교, 강원도에 소재한 4년제 K대학교, Y대학교, 충청남도에 소재한 4년제 C대학교에 재학 중인 대학생 490명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 설문회수율은 89%였다. 이중 답변이 누락되었거나 불성실한 설문지 5부를 제외하여 총 485부가 최종분석에 사용되었다. 설문조사를 통해 수집된 자료는 SPSS 12.0K를 사용하여 분석하였고, 구체적인 통계적 기법으로는 각 척도의 신뢰도를 파악하기 위해 Cronbach's 를 분석하였고, 기술통계분석, t-검정, 일원변량분석(ANOVA), 상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다.대학생의 대학환경풍토지각과 대학생활적응, 학업성취도의 관계에 대한 연구결과는 다음과 같다.첫째, 대학생들의 대학환경풍토지각은 성별, 학년, 전공, 학비충당방법, 경제적수준, 학교유형, 학교소재지에 따라 차이를 갖는 것으로 나타났으며, 이 중, 학년, 경제적수준, 학비충당방법은 대학환경풍토지각의 모든 영역에 있어서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.둘째, 대학생들의 대학생활적응은 성별, 학년, 전공, 학비충당방법, 경제적수준, 학교유형, 학교소재지에 따라 차이를 갖는 것으로 나타났으며, 대학환경풍토지각과 같이 학년, 경제적수준, 학비충당방법이 대학생활적응의 모든 영역에 있어서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.셋째, 대학생들이 지각하는 주관적 학업성취수준에 있어서는 여학생일수록, 지방소재 학교일수록, 고학년일수록, 경제적수준이 높을수록, 장학금을 받는 학생일수록 학업성취수준이 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다.넷째, 대학생들이 지각하는 대학환경풍토지각은 대학생활적응의 모든 영역에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 변인이였으며, 이는 인구통계요인의 통제여부와는 상관없이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 학업성취수준에 있어서는 인구통계요인을 통제하였을 경우, 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다.대학생의 대학환경풍토지각과 대학생활적응, 학업성취도에 대한 관계를 분석한 결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 결론을 내릴 수 있다.첫째, 대학생의 대학환경풍토지각과 대학생활적응, 주관적 학업성취수준은 개인의 특성이나 상황에 따라 다르게 나타난다.둘째, 대학생들이 지각하는 대학환경풍토는 학생의 지적 수월성과 정의적 행동의 형성에 각기 다른 방향으로 영향을 줌으로서 대학생활적응에 직ㆍ간접적으로 중요하게 작용하게 된다.셋째, 대학생들이 지각하는 대학환경풍토는 주관적 학업성취수준을 설명하는 요인이 되지 못한다. 이는 개인적 특성이나 상황은 학업성취를 예측할 수 있는 요인이나, 학생들이 지각하는 대학환경풍토는 학업성취를 예측할 수 있는 요인이 될 수 없음을 보여준다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the university environment climate perception of university students. The primary concern of this study was to analyze relationship between student adaptation to college and scholastic achievement according to the university environment climate perception and to clarify the related elements of the university environment climate perception on student adaptation to college, scholastic achievement. Under these questions, the study set forth specific objectives as follows : ⑴ What's the differences in the university environment climate perception of university students? ⑵ What's the differences to adapt college life of university students? ⑶ What's the differences in subjective scholastic achievement of university students? ⑷ Which factors of the university environment climate perception influence on student adaptation to college and scholastic achievement?In order to achieve these questions, survey qustionnaire was conducted with 490 university students from 5 different universities and 485 responses were included in the final analysis of this study. Cronbach's , descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, relation analysis and regression analysis of the date were conducted by SPSS 12.0 statistical package.After comparing the results of this study with the preceding study, the conclusion of this study are as follows:First, university environment climate perception, student adaptation to college and scholastic achievement are represented differently according to university student's characteristic and condition.Second, university environment climate perception of university student influence on the formation of student's intellectual simplicity and affectioanl behavior in the other way, and consequently, university environment climate perception of university student has become a huge factor in student adaptation to college directly and indirectly.Third, university environment climate perception of university student is not a primary factor to subjective scholastic achievement. In other words, student's characteristic and condition are the primary factors but university environment climate perception of university student is not predicted scholastic achievement.
