      The purpose of this study was to analysis the effects that family environment of the high school students impact to their adaptation of the school life. The subjects of this study were 435 male and female high school
      The results of this study were as followings;
      First, the family environment of high school students has high cohesiveness and intimacy on family and positive sense of value of their parents, but fostering attitude and communication of parents-children were not very positive.
      Second, the high school students have good adaptation of administration of students' school record, active learning, emotional control, interactive relation to school fellows, conform to school rule in general, and girl students have better adaptation than boy students in conform to school rule and interactive relation to school fellows.
      Third, as a rule, the deepest influence of the adaptation part of school life in family environments is active learning, especially, intimacy of family, the subordinate position of parests-children has a lot effect of active learning.
      Forth, fostering attitude which negative part of family environments position has an effect on adaptation which concern with administration of students' school record and interactive relation to school fellows among the school life adaptation, and communication has an effect on adaptation connected with emotional control on the school life.
      To concern of the family environments of high school student and the adaptation of school life, all lower position of family environments connected with adaptation of school life, and above all, the higher cohesiveness and intimacy of family, the more adaptable at the school. So, the weak fostering attitude and parents-children communication which are especially weak at the part of family environments should positively change.
      Therefore, it's recommended that should utilize more than a social worker in the high school in order to offer the appropriate services which high school students necessary many things such as casework, group work and family therapy to be more positive and affirm school life.
      Finally, it should be continue the research which is more specific social work approach to adapt environments concerned with school and the students' life in future.
