어머니의 행복감과 영아의 긍정적 사회정서행동 및 외현적,내면적 문제행동간의 관계 = The Correlation Between the Mothers` Happiness and Infants` Social-emotional Behaviors

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 행복감과 영아기 자녀의 사회정서행동간의 관계를 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구의 대상은 서울특별시 소재 어린이집에 재원중인 만 1, 2세 영아 126명과 영아들의 어머니 126명 등 총 252명이다. 본 연구에서는 질문지를 사용하여 어머니의 행복감과 영아의 긍정적 사회정서행동 및 부정적 사회정서행동을 조사하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 행복감과 만 1, 2세 영아들의 긍정적 사회정서행동 전체, 그리고 어머니의 행복감과 영아의 긍정적 사회정서행동의 하위요인들 간에는 정적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타나 영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니가 지각하는 행복감이 높을수록 영아기 자녀들은 긍정적인 사회정서행동을 많이 하고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 행복감과 만 1, 2세 영아들의 외현적 문제행동 및 내면적 문제행동 간에는 부적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타나 영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니가 높은 행복감을 느낄수록 영아기 자녀의 외현적 문제행동 및 내면적 문제행동은 적게 나타나고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이러한 결과는 영유아교육 및 부모지원 분야와 관련지어 논의되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examines the correlation between the happiness of mothers with infants and their 1 to 2 year-old infants` social-emotional behaviors. For this study 126 mothers with 1 to 2 year-old infants completed questionnaires that covered aspects such as demographical characteristics and their happiness. The teachers of the infants completed questionnaires about infants` social-emotional behaviors. The results are as follows. First, the correlation analysis reveals that happier mothers have infants who behaves social-emotionally more positively. And the levels of happiness of the mothers and the positive social-emotional behaviors of the infants measured under the diverse sub-categories are correlated positively. Second, the general features of mothers` happiness and their infants` negative social-emotional behaviors have a significant negative correlation. The happier mothers tend to have infants who express lower negative(externalizing/internal) social-emotional behaviors. According to the results, it can be concluded that happier mothers have infants who express more positive social-emotional behaviors and less negative(externalizing/internal) social-emotional behaviors.
