진로스트레스, 회피대처방식, 자아존중감의 관계:사회적으로 부과된 완벽주의의 조절효과를 중심으로 = The Relationships among Career Stress, Avoidance-Oriented Coping Strategy, and Self-Esteem: Based on the Moderating Effect of Socially Prescribed Perfectionism

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present study investigated the mediation effect of avoidance-oriented coping strategy on the relationship between career stress and self-esteem along with the moderating effect of socially prescribed perfectionism on these pathways. In order to test such a mediation model with the moderating effect, 392 college students were examined using multi-group structural equation modeling. The results indicated that the avoidance-oriented coping strategy partially mediated the association between career stress and self-esteem and that socially prescribed perfectionism had a negative impact on these mediation pathways. In other words, students with the high level of socially prescribed perfectionism had lower self-esteem in the condition that they were on a par with students with the low level of socially prescribed perfectionism in the degree of career stress. It was mainly discussed that students with high levels of socially prescribed perfectionism were vulnerable to the career stress in the context of recommendations for practice and future research.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 대학생의 진로스트레스와 자아존중감 간의 관계에서 회피 대처방식의 매개효과를 검증하고, 이러한 매개모형에서 사회적으로 부과된 완벽주의 성향의 조절효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 392명의 대학생을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였고, 수집한 자료를 다집단 구조방정식을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 회피 대처방식이 진로스트레스와 자아존중감의 관계를 부분 매개하였고, 이러한 매개모형에서 회피 대처방식의 매개효과는 사회적으로 부과된 완벽주의 성향에 의해 조절되었다. 이러한 결과는 사회적으로 부과된 완벽주의 성향이 높은 대학생들이 그렇지 않은 학생들에 비해 같은 진로스트레스를 지각하더라도 자아존중감이 직ㆍ간접적으로 더 많이 떨어진다는 것을 보여주는 것으로, 이와 관련하여 상담에서의 시사점 및 추후연구를 위한 제언들을 논의하였다.
