노인의 유산기부 의향에 관한 연구 = Study of Charitable Bequest Intention of the Elderly

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 우리나라 노인의 유산기부 의향의 실태를 파악하고, 유산기부에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 인구사회학적 요인, 나눔참여 경험, 사회공정성 인식, 대중매체 경험 요인들과 유산기부 의향 간의 인과적 관계를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구는 통계청의 2011 사회조사 38,012명의 자료 가운데 만 65세 이상 노인 6,196명만을 선택하여 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 연구모형의 인과관계를 검증하였다. 연구결과, 자녀와 동거를 할수록, 단체활동에 참여할수록, 주기적인 후원을 할수록, 자원봉사에 참여할수록, 대중매체 경험이 있을수록 유산기부 의향이 높게 나타났으며, 언론공정성에 대한 정도가 높아질수록 유산기부 의향이 낮게 나타나는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 노인들의 유산기부 활성화에 기본적인 자료를 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 사회복지 영역을 포함한 사회전반에 나눔과 베품이라는 사회문화 형성에 기여하게 될 것으로 사료된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study tries to comprehend charitable bequest intention of Korean elderly by empirically approaching the reciprocal relationships among factors of demographic sociology that impacts on charitable bequest, key factors of giving, social equity, mass media, and charitable bequest.
This study verified the causal nexus of research model through logistic regression by sampling 6,196 elderly person over 65 years old among 38,012 person of 2011 social survey of National Statistical Office.
The research found out, the more the people live with their children, participate in group activity and voluntary service, chronically involve in donation and more experiences in mass media showed higher inclination toward charitable bequest; on the other hand, as extent of autonomy of journalism got higher, study showed lower inclination toward charitable bequest.
This study not only provides fundamental data to invigorate charitable bequest intention among elderly, but also thought to contribute to sociocultural attitudes like charity and dispensation among the society.
