한국 중년여성 성역할갈등척도 개발 및 타당화 연구 = Development and Validation of the Korean Middle-Aged Female Gender Role Conflict Scale

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구에서는 한국 중년여성을 대상으로 여성성의 부정적인 측면을 측정하는 성역할갈등척도를 개발하고 타당화하였다. 여성성역할과 관련하여 Pleck의 성역할괴리 이론과 성역할역기능 이론을 반영하고, Gillespie와 Eisler의 FGRS(Female Gender Role Stress Scale), Helgeson과 Fritz가 제안한 바람직하지 않은 여성성 요인(Unmitigated Communion Scale), 김지현의 FGRCS(Female Gender Role Conflict Scale: for Female College Students) 등을 참고하여 문항을 구성하였다. 문항에 대한 이해도를 확인하고 내용타당도 검증을 통해 문항을 수정하고 통합하였고, 6점 Likert 척도의 41개 예비문항을 선정하였다. 예비문항에 대해 중년여성 285명을 대상으로 요인분석을 실시하였고 문항 내용의 일관성 등을 검토하여 부적합한 문항을 제외하고 29개의 본 검사 문항을 구성하였다. 중년여성 317명을 대상으로 이 29개 문항에 응답한 자료를 사용하여 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였고, 다중 부하 등을 보이는 9개 문항을 제외한 20개 문항에 대해 5개의 요인이 추출되었다. 다시 표집된 284명의 중년여성을 대상으로 5개 요인에 대한 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 얻은 5요인 구조의 적합도가 적절한 수준으로 나타났다. 또한, 개발된 한국 중년여성 성역할갈등척도의 변별타당도와 준거타당도가 양호하였다. 분석결과를 요약하고 이 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to develop and validate the Korean Middle-Aged Female Gender Role Conflict Scale(K-FGRCS-MA). The items were developed based on the gender-role discrepancy theory, socialized dysfunctional characteristic theory by Pleck(1995), FGRS(Female Gender Role Stress Scale) by Gillespie and Eisler(1992), an Unmitigated Communion Scale proposed by Helgeson and Fritz(1998), and FGRCS(Female Gender Role Conflict Scale: for Female College Students) by Ji-Hyeon Kim(2008). The items were integrated by the process of modifying and checking for understanding, then 41 preliminary 6-Likert-scale items were selected according to the content validity. Then 29 items were produced among 41 preliminary items for 285 Korean middle-aged female except for the improper items by conducting exploratory factor analysis. Exploratory factor analysis with 29 items was performed for 317 Korean middle-aged female and 5 factor structure with 20 items were selected after deleting 9 cross-loaded items. Finally, confirmatory factor analysis for 284 Korean middle-aged female showed that 5 factor structures as the result of exploratory factor analysis are a good fit. Discriminant and criterion-related validities were moderate. The implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
