무용전공 고등학생의 신체이미지가 자아존중감과 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 = The Influence of Body Image on Self-esteem and Psychological Well-being of High School Students Major in Dance

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the Influence of body image on self-esteem, and psychological well-being of high school students major in dance. Total of 278 survey questionnaires were used for final analysis. With the collected data, multiple regression analysis were performed by SPSS 15.0. The results of the analysis were summarized as follows. Firstly, the physical attractiveness impacts positively(+), but weight control impacts negatively(-) influence on self-esteem. Secondly, the physical attractiveness impacts positively(+) influence on self-acceptance. Thirdly, the physical attractiveness impacts positively(+) influence on positive relationships with others. Fourthly, the physical attractiveness impacts positively(+) influence on positive life purpose. Fifthly, the physical attractiveness impacts positively(+) influence on autonomy. Sixthly, the physical attractiveness impacts positively(+) influence on one"s control environment. Seventh, the appearance management impacts positively(+) influence on positive personal grown. Eighth, the self-esteem was revealed to function as a mediator on the relationship between body image and self-acceptance, positive relationships with others, positive life purpose, autonomy, one"s control environment, and positive personal grown.
