초기 청소년의 온,오프라인 참여활동이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향 -공동체의식의 매개효과를 중심으로- = The Effect of Social and Internet Participation on Life Satisfaction in Early Adolescents: Focusing on Mediating Effects of Sense of Community

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to see the causal relationship among social and internet participation, sense of community, life satisfaction in the early adolescents. It was especially focused on the mediating effects of sense of community on the relationship between social and internet participation and life satisfaction. The study data based on 2,351 of 1st grade middle school students among respondents of the survey on ``2008 1st children·adolescents panel research``, which was the research of National Youth Policy Institute(NYPI). The statistics software SPSS 14.0 and AMOS 7.0 were used for descriptive statistics, structural equation model analysis of data and multi-group comparison The study results showed as follows. First, affect of internet participation on life satisfaction was significant, but it was negative influence. On the other hand, social participation didn`t affect on life satisfaction. And social participation in early adolescents had positive influence on sense of community, internet participation didn`t affect on sense of community. Sense of community has positive influence on life satisfaction. Second, sense of community had partial mediating effect on the relationship between social participation and life satisfaction. Third, multiple group analysis indicated that the factors related life satisfaction did not different between male and female group, and between urban and rural group. Based on the results, implication for adolescents welfare policy and practice were discussed.
