부모애착이 초기 청소년 우울에 미치는 종단적 영향 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 청소년기 대표적인 정신건강 문제인 우울에 대해, 초기 청소년들을 대상으로 부모애착과 우울의 종단적 발달궤적과 두 변수의 발달궤적 간 관계를 밝히는 데 있다. 이를 위해 한국청소년패널조사의 초등학교 4학년에서 중학교 1학년까지 4년 동안의 종단적 자료를 토대로 잠재성장모형(Latent Growth Curve Model) 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 부모애착은 시간이 지남에 따라 점차 감소하는 추세로 나타났으며, 청소년 우울은 점차 증가하는 추세임을 확인하였다. 둘째, 부모애착 초기 값과 변화율이 우울의 초기 값과 변화율에 영향을 미치는 모든 경로가 유의하게 나타났다. 즉, 부모애착 초기 값이 높을수록 우울의 초기 값이 낮고, 우울의 증가속도는 느려지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부모애착 변화율이 큰 폭으로 증가할수록 우울의 증가 속도는 느려짐을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 성별, 부모학력수준, 빈곤유무에 따라 부모애착과 우울 궤적이 다르게 나타남을 확인하였다. 결론적으로 청소년 초기 부모애착이 우울에 종단적으로 유의한 영향을 미친다는 본 연구결과를 통해 아동기에서 청소년기로 전환하는 청소년 초기에도 부모는 여전히 이들의 발달과 적응에 있어 중요한 안전기저로 작용함을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로, 실천적ㆍ정책적 함의와 후속 연구를 위한 제언에 대해 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyze the trajectory of depression and parent attachment and the longitudinal effects of parent attachment on depression of early adolescence. Data were part of the Korea Youth Panel Survey 2004-2007(primary school 4) and were analyzed by Latent Growth Curve Model(LGM). The result showed that the tendency of parent attachment decreased and the level of depression increased linearly for four years. In terms of the trajectories in parent attachment and depression were mutually negative associated. Also, it was viewed that the longitudinal change of parent attachment has an effect of the change of depression. Sex, level of poverty, education level had effects on the trajectories of parent attachment and repression. Based on these findings several suggestions are made to prevent depression.
