현실요법을 적용한 대학생의 집단진로상담 프로그램 개발 및 효과 검증 = Development and Effect Verification of Group Career Coaching for University Students by Reality Therapy

Lately what every university is most interested in are the problems about unemployed youth and getting a job. Particularly at the early stage, the program was implemented for two groups each - career determined group and undetermined group –to verify the effect of the program to see how it affect the variables of career development such as career maturity, career decision level and career preparation activity. The finding of the study indicated that the students from the experiment group had a increase to the valid level in career maturity, career decision level and career preparation activity than thecontrol group students who had not participated in the program. It also indicated the same result in each sub-section. The after-test score of the experiment group students who had participated in the group career coaching program showed the more positive result in the self-reporting questionnaire than the pre-test score. Coming to the difference between the groups at the after-test, the experiment group students who had participated in the group career coaching program earned the higher scores in the sub-sections of will, knowledge and experience of jobthan the students who had not participated in the group career coaching program and showed the program effect in the all sections of career decision, effort, career search and participation. From the foregoing findings proved that the group career coaching program for college students by the reality therapy is the valid tool to make a positive effect for career maturity, career decision level and career preparation activity of university students.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 사회적인 큰 관심사가 되고 있는 것이 청년실업문제와 취업문제이다. 본 연구는 현실요법 이론을 배경으로 집단진로상담프로그램을 개발하고, 이를 대학생을 대상으로 실시하여 그 효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 이 프로그램의 구성은 제 1부는 참여자를 진로결정자와 미결정자로 나누어 실시한 자기탐색 프로그램으로 되어 있고, 제 2부는 진로준비행동 프로그램으로 구성되어 있는데 진로성숙도, 진로결정수준, 진로준비행동 등의 향상을 통하여 자기 성장과 취업에 도움이 되도록 고안되었다. 이 프로그램의 바탕은 자기성장과 자기선택을 강조한 William Glasser의 현실요법 상담이론을 기반으로 했으며, Sussman(2000)이 집단상담 프로그램 개발을 위해 연구한 집단상담 프로그램 7단계를 전지경(2004)이 활용한 논문을 준거 틀로 하여 본 연구자가 개발하였다. 연구결과 집단진로상담 프로그램에 참가한 실험집단 학생들이 프로그램에 참여하지 않은 통제집단 학생들보다 진로성숙도, 진로결정수준, 진로준비행동에서 유의미한 수준으로 증가되었으며, 각 하위영역에서도 동일한 결과를 나타냈다. 집단진로상담 프로그램에 참가한 실험집단 학생들의 사후검사 점수는 사전검사 점수보다 자기 보고식 질문지에서 긍정적인 결과를 나타냈는데 사후평가 시 집단 간 차이를 보면 진로성숙도의 하위영역인 직업에 대한 의지, 지식, 경험이 집단진로상담 프로그램에 참가하지 않은 학생들보다 높은 점수를 나타냈으며, 진로결정과 노력, 진로검색과 참여 영역 모두에서 프로그램의 효과를 나타냈다. 이러한 결과로 현실요법을 적용한 대학생의 집단진로상담 프로그램이 대학생의 진로성숙도와 진로결정수준, 진로준비행동에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있는 유용한 도구임이 입증되었다.
