학교청소년의 수련활동과 자원봉사활동, 자아존중감, 공동체의식의 관계 = The relationship among school adolescents' training activity, voluntary service, self-esteem and sense of community

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 학교 청소년의 수련활동 및 자원봉사활동이 자아존중감과 공동체의식에 미치는 직접효과를 확인하고, 수련활동과 자원봉사활동이 자아존중감을 매개하여 공동체의식을 강화하는지에 대한 간접효과를 확인하기 위한 것이다. 또한 성별이 이들 인과관계를 조절하는지 그 조절효과(moderating effect)를 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 보건복지부가 2008년 실시한 ‘아동청소년종합실태조사’ 자료를 기초로 하여 만13세-18세 청소년 중 학교 청소년 2,004명의 자료를 활용하였다. 수집된 자료는 AMOS 7.0을 활용해 분석하였다. 분석결과, 학교청소년들의 수련활동과 자원봉사활동은 공동체의식에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 수련활동과 자원봉사활동은 자아존중감을 매개하였을 때 공동체의식에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 각 경로에 대한 성별의 조절효과를 분석한 결과에서는 자아존중감이 공동체의식에 영향을 미치는 경로 외에는 각 경로에서 성별 간의 유의미한 차이가 발견되지 않았다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 함의를 살펴보았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined the direct and indirect effects, through self-esteem, of school adolescents' training activity and voluntary service of on sense of community. In addition , the study investigated the moderating effect of sex. The study data based on 2,004 of middle school and high school students among respondents of the survey on 'child-youth synthesize survey', which was the research of ministry for Health, Welfare affairs. As a statistical method, structural equation model was employed. The study results showed that school adolescents' training Activity and voluntary service did not affect directly on sense of community, but training activity and voluntary service affect indirectly on sense of community through self-esteem. The study did not find the moderating effects of sex, except for path from self-esteem to sense of community. Based on the results, implications for adolescents welfare policy and practice were discussed.
