가정폭력 피해여성을 위한 사이코드라마 프로그램의 효과 연구 = A Study on Effect of a Psychodrama Program for the Female Victims of Family Violence

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of psychodrama program for the female victims of family violence. For this study, 20 subjects were sampled from two protective facilities, namely shelters for the female victims of family violence, in A city, and then allotted them to two groups － 10 to the experimental group and 10 to the control group. A psychodrama program was conducted for the victims in 10 sessions, for 29 hours, throughout three weekend days. Before carrying out the psychodrama program, a pretest (self-esteem, depression, and spontaneity) was done for the two groups. Upon completing the whole session of the program, a post test was carried out for the experimental group (self-esteem, depression, spontaneity, and healing factor scale) and the control group (self-esteem, depression, and spontaneity). And then a follow-up was done for the two groups (self-esteem, depression, and spontaneity) after one month. Study findings are as follows: First, the psychodrama program for the female victims of family violence was effective in improving the victims' self-esteem. Second, the psychodrama program for the female victims of family violence was effective in decreasing the victims' depression. Third, a quantitative test showed that the psychodrama program for the female victims of family violence was not effective in improving the victims' spontaneity, but a qualitative test showed that it was effective. Fourth, in order to estimate the ranking of healing factors in relation to the whole effect of the psychodrama program for the female victims of family violence, the investigator made a list. The list of healing factors were hierarchically arranged as following: (1) the advice of group members; (2) self-understanding; (3) the advice of therapists.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 가정폭력 피해여성을 위한 사이코드라마 프로그램의 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. A시의 가정폭력 피해여성 보호시설 2개소에 피해여성 20명을 선발하여 실험집단과 통제집단에 각각 10명을 할당하여 실험집단에게 총 29시간의 사이코드라마 프로그램을 실시하였다. 실험집단과 통제집단에게 사전과 사후, 그리고 1개월 후 추후검사로 자아존중감, 우울, 자발성 검사를 실시하였고 실험집단에게는 프로그램이 끝난 후 치료요인 척도를 추가로 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가정폭력 피해여성을 위한 사이코드라마 프로그램이 가정폭력 피해여성들의 자아존중감을 향상하는데 효과가 있었다. 둘째, 가정폭력 피해여성을 위한 사이코드라마 프로그램이 가정폭력 피해여성들의 우울을 감소하는 데 효과가 있었다. 셋째, 가정폭력 피해여성을 위한 사이코드라마 프로그램이 가정폭력 피해여성들의 자발성을 향상하는 데에는 효과가 없었다. 넷째, 본 프로그램의 치료적 요인으로는 집단원의 조언, 자기-이해, 치료자의 조언 등의 순으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 사이코드라마 프로그램 종료 후 1개월이 지난 추후검사에서 자아존중감 향상과 우울 감소의 효과가 지속되는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 가정폭력 피해여성을 위한 사이코드라마가 피해여성의 자아존중감 향상과 우울 감소에 효과적인 치료라는 것이 입증되었다.
