중학생의 성역할 고정관념과 진로포부의 관계에서진로효능감의 매개효과 연구 = The Mediating Effect of Career Self-efficacyon the relationship of Sex-role stereotypeand Career aspiration in Middle School Students

In the present study, we investigated whether self-efficacy mediates the relationship between sex-role stereotype and career-aspirations. We examined the gender difference in the mediation model we proposed. Research participants were 215 middle school students who were living in Kyunggi and Seoul. The subjects completed Sex-role stereotype scale, Carre self-efficacy scale and Career-aspirations scale. Correlation and regression analysis was employed to analyze the data. The major finding were as follows. The first, sex-role stereotype was negatively related to self-efficacy and Career-aspirations. The self-efficacy was revealed to function as a mediator in the relationship between sex-role stereotype and career-aspirations in this population. The Second, we found the gender difference in the proposed mediating model. Suggestions for future studies and for career counseling for the middle school students were made.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 남녀 중학생을 대상으로 진로효눙감이 성역할 고정관념과 진로포부 간의 관계를 매개하는지 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 서울, 경기 지역의 중학생 215명이었고 성역할 고정관념 척도, 진로효능감 척도, 진로포부 척도로 구성된 설문지를 실시하였다. 각 변인들 사이의 관계를 알아보기 위해 상관분석과 회귀분석을 통한 매개효과 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 성역할 고정관념이 높을수록 진로효능감과 진로포부는 낮아졌고 진로효능감이 높을수록 진로포부는 높아졌다. 성역할 고정관념과 진로포부의 관계에서 진로효눙감은 불완전 매개효과를 가지고 있었다. 둘째, 남학생과 여학생에서 진로효눙감의 매개효과는 차이가 있었다. 남학생의 경우 성역할 고정관념이 진로효능감과 진로포부에 미치는 영향력은 유의미하지 않았으며 진로효능감과 진로포부의 관계만 유의미하였다. 여학생의 경우 성고정관념과 진로포부의 관계를 진로효능감이 불완전 매개하고 있었다. 분석결과에 대해 선행연구와 관련하여 논의하고, 연구의 의의와 한계 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시했다.
