발달에 적합한 음악․동작 통합 프로그램이 유아의 운동능력에 미치는 효과 = The effects of a developmentally appropriate music and movement integration program on motor development

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate and to compare the effect of a developmentally appropriate music and movement integration program and teacher-directed physical education program on the motor development in children ages 5 years. Fifty one children, 26 girls and 25 boys, participated. Twenty six of them were in an experimental group and followed a developmentally appropriate music and movement integration program, which lasted 6 weeks. The rest served as the comparison group and followed the teacher-directed physical education program, for the same period of time. Children’s motor development was assessed with TGMD-2[Ulrich, 2000]. Data were analyzed with ANCOVA. The result showed that the experimental group improved significantly motor development. It can be concluded that a developmentally appropriate music and movement program can positively affect motor development of preschool children.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 발달에 적합한 음악․동작 통합 프로그램이 유아의 운동능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석함으로써 보다 효과적인 교수학습 방안 모색을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는 데 있다. 만 5세 유아 51명을 대상으로 6주간의 실험처치를 실시한 결과 교사 주도의 신체활동을 실시한 비교집단의 유아 보다 발달에 적합한 음악․동작 통합 활동을 실시한 실험집단의 유아들이 운동능력 점수가 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 음악․동작 통합 활동은 운동능력의 하위 요인인 대상통제 운동능력과 이동 운동능력에 있어서도 의미 있는 영향을 미치는 것으로 드러났다.
