음악과 동작 개념에 기초한 만 3세아 통합적 음악활동의 구성과 적용 = Construction and Application of the concepts based music and movement integrated activities for three-year-olds

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Purpose of the research was to construct the concept based music and movement integrated activities for three-year-old children and to apply them into the practical teaching settings of young children in order to find out the ways of understanding musical activities of young children. It is a quasi-qualitative research utilizing videotapping, photographing and reflective journal writing in addition to the activity plan construction. The collected data was analyzed by the researcher according to the child's interest and cognition and response on the integrated musical activities performed in the preschool classroom. From the study, it was found that three-year-old children exhibited high level of interest on the concept based music and movement integrated musical activities(i.e., voluntarily exploring and repetitively trying the activities with expression of pleasure). Research concluded that three-year-old children were able to construct various movements along with duple-time rhythm while they confused pitch with speed and strength or softness of tunes as well. However they seemed to be understood the flows of tunes relatively well, expressing with the correspondent high and low movements. Also, children enjoyed repetitive performances of movements according to different types of music, and showed their feeling of phrases by their changing directions and movement response. And children were able to distinguish different types of sounds and expressed them using their bodies, but they focused more on searching the sounds than expressing the sounds through movements also they made different forms of expressions adjusting the space width and power in accordance with the strength and softness of the music. They also controlled the speed of their movement according to the tempo of the music. Also they actively responded to various sound flows such as staccato and legato and made their expressions accordingly.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 음악과 동작 개념에 기초한 통합적 유아음악활동의 내용을 구성하여 유아교육 현장에 적용해 보고 이 과정에서 드러나는 유아의 반응과 활동 특징을 분석함으로써 만3세아 유아교사에게 음악과 동작 개념을 통합한 음악활동에 대한 폭넓은 이해와 통찰력을 제공하는 것이다. 연구내용은 유아음악활동안의 구성과 현장적용, 활동의 특징 분석이며 관련문헌고찰, 비디오 촬영, 반성적 저널을 수반한 관찰 조사가 연구방법으로 활용되었다. 연구대상은 B도시 소재 B 유치원에 재원 중인 만3세아 20명이고 연구자가 개발한 총 15회기에 해당하는 음악과 동작 개념에 기초한 통합적 유아음악활동을 연구대상에게 적용하였다. 적용의 과정에서 수집된 관찰 자료는 통합적 음악활동에 대한 유아의 흥미 정도와 활동의 이해로 나뉘어 분석되었는데 결과적으로 만3세아는 통합적 음악활동 과정에서 자발적인 탐색과 반복을 즐기고 움직임 요소보다 소리 탐색을 통한 음악 요소를 우선 이해하여 표현한다는 특징을 발견하였다.
