산학협력 중심의 직업교육이 정신지체 전공과 학생의 직업능력에 미치는 효과 = The Effcets of School-Industry Cooperative Based Vocational Curriculum on Vocational Capabilities of Major Students with Mental Retardation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to study the effects of school-industry cooperation based vocational curriculum of major course for school for students with mental retardation and proposing the directions of vocational education in school for students with mental retardation. For this, we examined its effect and the current status in occupation by conducting pre/post assessment and applying school-industry cooperation based vocational curriculum to major students of H school. As a result of study, first of all, in the area of job preparation, remarkable elevation in improvement was shown compared to other areas. Next, for the areas of job function and life of employment, the degree of improvement among the students in protective work level was determined to be relatively low in contrast to the groups having different standards. Lastly, in the area of career orientation, extremely low signs of improvement were shown among the students in levels of vocational adaptability training and protective work. Upon looking at present direction of study courses and students applied with school-industry cooperation based vocational curriculum, the operation of such vocation education can be considered as presenting meaningful outcome towards the employment. As a result of this study, school-industry cooperation based vocational curriculum should be prepared by providing the legal basis of national level related to school-industry cooperation or field-practice and proposing its model in order to enhance students' vocational capabilities of major course for school for students with mental retardation, and many schools should take vocational curriculum course of such a system and keep carrying out supporting service activities for this. This study made a proposal that it would be possible to emphasize the importance of school-industry cooperation by conducting analysis between major course operating school-industry cooperation based vocational curriculum and subject based major course or that of subcontract-typed operation with wide variety of cases.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 정신지체 특수학교 전공과에서 산학협력 중심 직업교육의 효과를 알아보고 정신지체 특수학교 직업교육의 방향성을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 정신지체 특수학교인 H학교 전공과 학생들을 대상으로 산학협력 중심의 직업교육을 적용하고, 사전-사후 검사를 통해 그 효과와 진로현황을 알아보았다. 연구결과 첫째, 직업준비 영역에서는 다른 영역에 비해 현저히 높게 향상되었다. 둘째, 직업기능 영역과 직업생활 영역에서는 보호작업 수준의 학생들의 향상도가 다른 수준의 집단에 비해 비교적 낮게 측정되었다. 셋째, 진로지도 영역에서 직업적응훈련 수준과 보호작업 수준의 학생들은 매우 낮은 향상을 나타냈다. 이와 같은 산학협력 중심 직업교육을 적용한 전공과 학생들의 진로현황을 볼 때 산학협력 중심의 직업교육 운영이 취업에 의미 있는 효과를 줄 수 있다고 볼 수 있다. 이 연구의 결과 정신지체 특수학교 전공과 학생들의 직업능력 향상을 위해서는 산학협력 또는 현장실습에 대한 국가수준에서의 법적 근거를 확보하고 모델을 제시함으로써 산학협력 중심의 직업교육이 마련되야 할 것이며, 많은 학교들이 이러한 체제의 직업교육을 반영하고 그것을 위한 지원서비스의 활동이 꾸준히 전개되야 할 것이다. 이 연구는 앞으로 폭넓은 사례수로 산학협력 중심의 직업교육을 운영하는 전공과와 공과식 운영의 전공과 또는 하도급 형식 운영의 전공과와의 비교가 이루어짐으로써 산학협력의 중요성을 더욱 강조할 수 있을 것이라는 제언을 제시하였다.
