청소년의 다문화 교육경험과 사회적 친밀감이 다문화 수용에 미치는 영향 = The effects of multicultural educational experience and social distance on the multicultural acceptance of adolescents

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The objective of this study is bring forward the necessity of multicultural education of korean adolescents for the sake of reducing the forthcoming conflict of multicultural society. The effects of multicultural experiences in education and social intimacies on the multicultural acceptance was investigated. Adolescents of non-multicultural families, those who selected from the Seoul metropolitan area middle school students, were surveyed. Based on data collected, correlation and regression analysis were performed. As a result, multicultural educational experiences and social intimacies were positive relationships with the social acceptances at each subordinate variables. There was a significant levels of influence that an ability to form a social relationship is influenced by social intimacies and multicultural educational experiences. In addition, statistically significant influences were found that social intimacies and multicultural experiences in education affected to adolescents' multicultural awareness, multicultural openness, multicultural empathy, and multicultural acceptance.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 다문화 사회의 갈등요인 최소화를 위해서 청소년 대상의 다문화 교육 필요성을 제기하려는 목적으로, 청소년의 다문화 교육경험과 사회적 친밀감이 다문화 수용에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 서울 및 수도권에 재학 중인 비다문화가정 중학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 데이터를 바탕으로 상관관계 분석 및 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 사회적 친밀도와 다문화 교육경험은 다문화 수용성의 각 하위항목과 정적인 관계가 있었으며(다문화 개방성 제외: 부적), 사회적 친밀도와 다문화 교육경험이 다문화 관계형성능력에 유의한 수준의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이외에도 사회적 친밀도와 다문화 교육경험은 다문화적 인식, 다문화 개방성, 다문화적 공감, 다문화 수용성에 모두 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다.
