다문화 그림이야기책을 활용한 다문화 교육프로그램이 유아의 인종 편견 및 가족 구조에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향 = Effects of a Multicultural Educational Program Using Multicultural Picture Storybooks on Young Children's Racial Prejudices and Attitudes toward Family Structure

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 다문화 그림이야기책을 활용한 다문화 교육프로그램이 유아의 인종 편견 및 가족 구조에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 연구 목적에 따라 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다.
1. 다문화 그림이야기책을 활용한 다문화 교육프로그램이 인종에 대한 유아의 고정관념에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가?
2. 다문화 그림이야기책을 활용한 다문화 교육프로그램이 가족구조에 대한 유아의 태도에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가?
본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 다문화 그림이야기책을 활용한 다문화 교육프로그램은 인종에 대한 유아의 고정관념을 완화시키는데 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다.
둘째, 다문화 그림이야기책을 활용한 다문화 교육프로그램은 가족구조에 대한 유아의 태도에서 가족의 범위에 대한 인식, 재혼가족 인식 및 재혼가족 아동에 대한 태도, 국제결혼 가족 인식 및 국제결혼 아동에 대한 태도에는 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으나 한부모 가족 인식 및 한부모 가족 아동에 대한 태도에서는 긍정적인 영향을 미치지 못했다.
이와 같이 다문화 그림이야기책을 활용한 다문화 교육프로그램은 유아의 인종 편견 및 가족 구조에 대한 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a multicultural educational program using multicultural picture storybooks on young children's racial prejudices and attitudes toward family structure.
For that purpose, the following research questions were set:
1. What kind of impact does a multicultural educational program using multicultural picture storybooks have on young children's racial stereotypes?
2. What kind of impact does a multicultural educational program using multicultural picture storybooks have on young children's attitudes toward family structure?
The research findings can be summarized as follows:
First, the multicultural educational program using multicultural picture storybooks had positive impacts on breaking the racial stereotypes of the young children.
Second, the program had also positive impacts on perception of family scope, attitude toward stepfamily and children from stepfamily, perception of international marriage family, and attitude toward children of international marriage of attitudes toward family structure and did not have such positive impacts on perception of single-parent family and attitude toward children from single-parent family.
In short, a multicultural educational program using multicultural picture storybooks seems to have positive influences on young children's racial prejudices and attitudes toward family structure.
