여대생이 인식한 자기결정성이 진로스트레스와 진로장벽 및 진로결정 수준에 미치는 영향 = A Causal Model among Self-determination, Career Stress, Career Barriers, and Career Decision Level of Female College Students in Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 서울과 경기지역의 여자대학교에 재학 중인 여대생을 대상으로 진로스트레스와 진로장벽, 자기결정성과 진로결정수준 간의 관계를 알아보고자 관련 이론과 국내외 선행연구들을 검토하여 변인들 간의 관계에 대한 네 가지의 경쟁모형을 설정하고 검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 수행을 위하여 서울과 경기지역의 여자대학교에서 교양수업과 전공수업을 수강하는 여대생 225명을 대상으로 설문지를 배부하였다. 이 중 설문의 모든 문항에 응답하지 않았거나 회수되지 않은 9개의 자료를 제외하고 최종적으로 216명이 최종 연구대상이 되었다. 분석결과, 자기결정성은 진로스트레스(r=-.20)및 진로장벽(r=-.27)과 부적상관을, 진로결정과는 정적상관(r=.32)인 것으로 나타났다. 진로스트레스와 진로장벽 및 진로결정 수준의 관계에서 자기결정성이 어떠한 매개역할을 하는지를 알아보기 위해 경쟁모형들을 설정하여 검증한 결과, 자기결정성은 진로스트레스와 진로장벽이 진로결정수준에 영향을 미치는 관계에서 부분매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 행동변화의 주된 원인으로 간주되고 있는 자기결정성이나 내적 조절이 진로스트레스와 진로장벽 인식의 완충요인임을 확인한 결과이며, 개인의 자율적 동기 차원에서 진로스트레스와 진로장벽 및 진로결정 능력을 중재할 수 있는 가능성을 시사한다. 특히, 여대생들에게 대학생활 자체가 앞으로의 진로결정과 사회에서 부딪치게 될 진로장벽의 잠재적인 스트레스원이 될 수 있다는 점을 고려한다면, 성공적인 대학생활과 여대생의 인적자원개발을 위한 진로관련 변인과 동기변인에 대한 연구가 더 체계적이고 구체적으로 이루어질 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is verify a causal model among self-determination, career stress, career barriers, and career decision level of female college students. To accomplish of this purpose, four kinds of relational model are set up.
Data were collected using instruments to measure self-determination, career stress, career barriers, and career decision level of 216 female college students from three universities located in Seoul and Kyeonggi province, Korea. Instruments used in this study were as follows: 1) Self-determination, Inventory(Kim, 2000); 2) Career Decision Inventory(Lee, 1997); 3)Career Stress Inventory(Kim, 2003); Career Bareer(Whang et al., 2005). As for statistical methods, reliability of analysis using Cronbach's alpha, correlations, and structural equation modeling were used in this study.
The results indicated that the significant negative correlations between self-determination, and stress and career barriers. Also there are positive correlation between self-determination and career decision level. Finally, the result of structural equation modeling suggests that self-determination, partly mediated among the level of stress, career barriers and career decision level.
