신학대학생의 스트레스에 관한 연구 : 학교생활, 진로와 취업을 중심으로 = (A) Study on the Theological Students' Stress : Mainly school life and job-seeking

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 한국 기독교를 대표할 수 있는 6대 교단 소속 신학대학교 학생들이 경험하고 있는 스트레스의 본질을 이해하여 그들이 안고 있는 어려움을 해소하는데 도움이 되는 개입을 시도해 보고자 시작하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 대학생들이 학년별, 성별, 교단별에 따라 어느 정도 학교생활, 진로 및 취업 스트레스를 받고 있으며, 어떠한 영향, 장애를 받고 있는지, 어떻게 문제를 해결하는지 연구하는데 있다.
연구대상은 전체 기독교 1,200만명중 69%인 828만명으로서 한국 기독교를 대표할 수 있는 국내 6대 교단 신학대학교 신학과 학생 720명으로 하였고, 측정도구는 R. L. Mooney와 L. W. Gordon이 미국에서 제작한 것을 이화여자대학교 학생생활연구소에서 1989년 번안 제작한 도구를 일부 사용하였다. 또한 황성원의〔대학생의 취업스트레스 검사〕측정도구에서 취업 스트레스와 김영미의〔대학생을 위한 스트레스 대응 질문지〕측정도구에서 학교생활에서 받는 스트레스를 측정하는 질문 중 중복되는 문제 항목과 본 연구자의 의도에 부합되는 문항을 선별하고 수정 보완하여 구성하였으며, 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
1. 학교생활에 따른 스트레스에서는 학년별로는 차이가 거의 없었으며, 3학년보다 4학년이 더 많이 스트레스를 경험하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 성별로는 차이가 있었는데, 여자가 남자보다 더 많은 스트레스를 경험하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 교단별로는 차이가 있었는데, 성결교가 가장 많은 스트레스를 받고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 장로교(통합), 장로교(합동), 순복음, 감리교, 침례교 순으로 나타났다.
2. 진로 및 취업 스트레스에서 학년별로는 차이가 거의 없었는데, 4학년이 3학년보다 스트레스를 더 많이 경험하고 있었으며, 성별로는 여자가 남자보다 더 많은 스트레스를 경험하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 교단별로는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났는데, 장로교(합동), 성결교, 장로교(통합), 감리교, 침례교, 순복음 순으로 나타났다.
3. 학교생활, 진로 및 취업스트레스에서 학년별, 교단별 차이는 없었으며, 성별에 따른 결과는 (.005 < .01)로서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났는데, 여자가 남자보다 더 많은 스트레스를 경험하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
4. 학교생활, 진로 및 취업 스트레스에 따른 해결방법에서는 학년별, 성별로는 차이가 없었으나, 교단별로는 (.00 < .001)로서 차이가 많이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 교단별 차이는 장로교(통합)이 가장 적극적으로 대처했으며, 그 다음은 순복음, 침례교, 장로교(합동), 감리교, 성결교로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

I started to write this paper in order to understand the intrinsic nature of stress that theological students are suffering from and help them get rid of their difficulties. The purpose of this paper is to find out how much stress the students have, what sort of stress they have according to their sex, grade, church and how they solve the problems.
720 theological students of 6 domestic denominations' college representing Korean Christianity among 8.28 million students, 69% of all Christians in South Korea were involved in this paper . Measurement equipment designed by R. L. Mooney and L. W. Gorden introduced by Eha Womens'university in 1989 was used to complement this paper. In addition, I selected and modified overlapping questions and made up for them and finally got the following results.
1. The students' stress from school life is hardly influenced by school grade. But the students in fourth grade suffer from more stress than those in third grade. The students'sex has an effect on their stress from school life for some degrees. Female students suffer from more stress than male students.
2. The students's stress from job-seeking and their course after graduation is scarcely influenced by school grade. But the students in fourth grade suffer from more stress than those in third grade. Job-seeking stress really differs in accordance with sex (.000 < .001 ). Female students are more stressful than male students
3. There is little difference in the side effects from their stress related to school grade and church denominations. Contrary to this, the students' sex has considerable effects on their stress level. ( .005 < .01 ) Male pupils marked 2.58 and said "We regret wasting time and our future might be stupid " . On the other hand, female students marked 2.75 and said " We are tired and exausted."
4. According to the results, how to relieve stress is different from one another. The students'school grade and their sex have little effect on their stress.
But Church denominations have substantial effect on their stress ( .00 < .001 ) Presbyterian churches (Tonghap) have responded to the problem most actively and the order is Full Gospel Churches.
