부모면담에 대한 유치원 교사의 인식및 교육적 요구 = A Study on the Awareness on Parent Counseling and Needs for Education in Kindergarten Teachers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 부모면담에 대한 유치원 교사의 인식, 실태 및 교사교육 목표, 내용, 운영방법에 대한 요구를 분석하여 유치원 부모면담교사교육 프로그램의 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 유치원 교사 431명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 인식 및 실태, 운영방법에 대한 요구를 알아보기 위해 SPSS 17.0을 이용해 빈도, 백분율, 을 교사교육 목표에 대한 요구를 알아보기 위해 평균, 표준편차를 구하였고, 교사교육내용 요구분석을 위해 대응표본 t-검증, Borich 요구분석, The Locus for Focus 모델의 3단계 분석방법을 활용하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 부모면담을 실시할 때의 어려움은 업무부담, 부모의 인식부족, 교사의 면담능력부족으로 인식하였고, 대다수의 교사들이 교사교육을 받아 본 경험이 없고 교사교육이 필요하다고 하였으며, 교사교육에 대한 참여의사를 밝혔다. 둘째, ‘부모와의 효율적인 의사소통방법 익히기’를 포함한 11개의 교사교육 목표와 ‘유아문제행동 원인 및 지도’를 포함한 6개의 교사교육 내용이 도출되었으며, 셋째, 운영방법은 전문강사를 통한 강의와 사례발표로 경력교사와 상담 전문가가 교육을 담당하여 2-3일의 단기집중교육으로 학기 중 평일 근무시간 내에 교육을 받기 원하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness of kindergarten teachers about teacher education on parent counseling, the state of education and their needs for the objectives, content and method of education in an effort to lay the groundwork for the development of kindergarten teacher education programs about parent counseling. The subjects in this study were 431 kindergarten teachers, on whom a survey was conducted. A statistical package SPSS 17.0 was employed to analyze the collected data. A frequency analysis, percentage and x2-test were utilized to find out their awareness, the state of in-service training education and their needs for the method of the education. Mean and standard deviation were calculated to grasp their needs for the objectives of this education. Paired-samples t-test, Borich needs analysis and the three-stage analysis of the Locus for Focus Model were all used to determine their needs for the content of this education. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the teachers faced difficulties when they consulted parents due to workload, poor awareness of parents and their own poor counseling skills. Second, eleven objectives were selected as the objectives of this education, including learning how to communicate with parents efficiently, and six contents were selected as the content of teacher education, including the causes of early childhood problem behaviors and related guidance.
