아동, 청소년기 심리적 경직성의 측정 : 한국형 아동 및 청소년용 회피-융합척도(K-AFQ-Y)의 타당화

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 Greco, Lambert와 Baer(2008)가 아동과 청소년의 심리적 경직성(psychological inflexibility)을 측정하기 위해 개발한 아동 및 청소년용 회피-융합척도(Avoidance and Fusion Questionnaire for Youth: AFQ-Y)를 우리나라 아동, 청소년에게 적용하여 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하고자 했다. 이를 위해 초등학생 261명(남 130, 여 131)과 중학생 460명(남 235, 여 225)에게 한국형 아동 및 청소년용 회피-융합척도(Korean Version of the Avoidance and Fusion Questionnaire for Youth: K-AFQ-Y)와 사고억제 질문지, 수용-행동 질문지, 아동발현 불안척도, 청소년 행동평가척도 자기보고용, 단축형 행복척도를 실시하였다. K-AFQ-Y는 양호한 내적 합치도(Cronbach’s α=.87)와 좋은 검사-재검사 신뢰도(r=.83)를 보였고, 확인적 요인분석 결과, 원 척도와 동일한 일요인 구조가 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 상관분석 결과, K-AFQ-Y는 인지회피의 일종인 사고억제척도와는 높은 정적상관을, 수용척도와는 유의미한 부적상관을 보였다. 또한, 우울, 불안, 신체증상, 규칙위반, 공격성 같은 증상척도와는 정적상관을, 행복척도와는 부적상관을 보였다. 특히, 수용전념치료 모델의 주요 심리과정인 사고억제와 수용의 영향을 제거한 후에도 K-AFQ-Y는 증상 및 행복척도와 유의미한 상관이 유지되었다. 이 결과들은 K-AFQ-Y가 아동, 청소년의 심리적 경직성을 측정하는 데에 있어 신뢰롭고 타당한 도구이며, 심리적 경직성이 아동과 청소년의 다양한 정신병리 증상과 삶의 질에 기여하는 독특한 구성개념임을 시사한다. 마지막으로 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to examine the reliability and validity of the Korean version of the Avoidance and Fusion Questionnaire for Youth(AFQ-Y; Greco, Lambert, & Baer, 2008), a child-report measure of psychological inflexibility. Elementary and middle school students(n=721) completed Korean version of AFQ-Y(K-AFQ-Y), White Bear Suppression Inventory(WBSI), Acceptance and Action Questionnaire(AAQ), Revised Children’s Manifest Anxiety Scale(RCMAS), Youth Self-Report(YSR), and Concise Measure of Subjective Well-Being (COMOSWB). The K-AFQ-Y showed adequate internal consistency reliability (Cronbach’s α=.87) and good test-retest reliability(r=.83). In addition, confirmatory factor analysis showed that K-AFQ-Y fitted a one-factor measurement model. The K-AFQ-Y correlated positively with anxiety, depression, somatic complaint and problem behavior, and negatively with subjective well-being. Also, The K-AFQ-Y correlated as expected with conceptually overlapping process, thought suppression and acceptance. Even after removing the effects of related constructs(thought suppression and acceptance), the K-AFQ-Y correlated significantly in the expected directions with all measures. These results support the convergent and construct validity of K-AFQ-Y. Overall, the results suggest that the K-AFQ-Y may be an useful child-report measure of core acceptance and commitment therapy process, psychological inflexibility. Finally, the implication and limitation of this study were discussed.
