어머니의 집착과 양육 효능감 및 유아의 정서지능 간의 관계 = The Relationship among Mothers` Clinging, Parenting-Efficacy and Preschoolers` Emotional Intelligence

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between mothers` clinging, parenting efficacy and preschoolers` emotional intelligence. The subjects for this study were 234 mothers whose children were enrolled in six kindergartens in Gyoungsang and Chungchung provinces. The results were as follows: There was a significant difference in some sub-scales of preschoolers` emotional intelligence according to their mothers` level of clinging. Also, there was a significant difference in the preschoolers` emotional intelligence according to their mothers` level of parenting efficacy. There was a direct impact on the preschoolers` emotional intelligence according to the mothers` parenting efficacy, and also there was an interaction and impact between clinging and parenting efficacy of mothers in the preschoolers` emotional intelligence according to their mothers` level of clinging and parenting efficacy. In conclusion, the mothers` higher level of excess clinging and lower level of self-efficacy may combine or interact as risk factors in the impaired development of preschoolers in areas such as emotional intelligence.
