영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 애착과 영아 발달간의 관계 연구: 어머니의 양육효능감 매개효과 검증 = The Relationships between Maternal Attachment and Infant Development: The Mediating Effect of Parenting Efficacy

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of mother-infant attachment and maternal parenting efficacy on infant`s development. Furthermore, the mother`s parenting efficacy was included in the analysis as a mediator between mother-infant attachment and infant`s development. The subjects of this study included 400 infant-mother pairs who were using infant child care facilities in Seoul. Data on the mother-infant attachment and maternal parenting efficacy were gathered through maternal self-reported questionnaires. Also, infant development was assessed by head teachers of this study. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analyses. The main results of this study were as follows. The primary results demonstrated that parenting efficacy which is mother`s perceived levels of confidence in supporting infant`s development significantly predicted the infant`s development. In addition, parenting efficacy mediated between mother-infant attachment and infant`s development. Implication for research and practice were discussed along with the results of study.
